Absolutely ruined my daughters sleep over birthday plans by not having the connecting rooms i requested over 1 month in advance and they confirmed they would accomodate connecting 3 rooms. An absolute +×*& show and horribke experience. Not to mention what I payed for 4 rooms to make this happen and they completely messed it up.

Oct 01, 2026Expensive and Inefficient, but Spacious and Good Food
The hotel is supposed to be a resort, and it definitely has that resort feel when you arrive. My experience is that this is not an incredibly nice resort. The food is overpriced (but tastes good) and the service is very slow and inefficient though the servers are nice. The place seems to be understaffed in general because even the store was closed at random times. I called the front desk multiple times with no response. The pool bar at this resort closed at 8 PM when the pool is open until 10 PM. My room was spacious and had an amazing view, but the property was overrun with children in the pool area until 10 PM. This isn’t necessarily a problem just not my preference as an adult looking for relaxation and amenities. Overall, I think this a great hotel for families and work functions, not an upscale or luxury property.

Wonderful experience as always
We always have a wonderful experience at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina. As a World of Hyatt member, we’ve been fortunate to receive room upgrades on our stays, and we truly appreciate how friendly and welcoming the staff always are. The breakfast is also excellent, and we especially enjoyed the complimentary kayak activity this time. The kids had so much fun, and it was a great family experience. We really appreciate the consistent hospitality and hope you continue to keep up the great work. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

What a beautiful property, and warm and welcoming staff. The views were incredible, the resort was comfortable, and the staff was helpful.
