Worth the read…10/10 resort
This is a LONG review but worth reading. We have been to this resort twice in the last 8 months, and I am absolutely blown away by the staff. I have visited many resorts over the years, and I have never experienced staff attentiveness like I have at this resort. First…our server/chef Isreal and restaurant manager Daisy (CASA CORTEZ)— thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you did for my family. Your service was incredible. Isreal went ABOVE and BEYOND every time we sat down to eat. He always greeted my toddler as if it were his own baby, so kind and attentive and consistently brought things to our table to make our experience easier and more enjoyable. Thank you, Isreal, you are AMAZING!! My family said we would come back to the resort just to see you again!! And Daisy, thank you for always accommodating our family. We travelled with a large group (10 people and a baby), and every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was accommodated without a single complaint. Truly exceptional. Next, our butler Trinidad — I have nothing but amazing things to say. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by his service. Every morning he greeted us by the pool by our names, including my baby’s name, and always checked in to see what he could do to make our day better. He did so much for us, often without us even asking, and we are incredibly grateful. A huge thank you to you. Olga and Rodrigo were our amazing servers in the main lounge every evening—thank you both for your wonderful hospitality. Each morning, we were greeted with exceptional service at the coffee shop by Melany, Axel, and Irvin. They even remembered our orders every morning. Fabulous coffee and pastries in the morning. Lastly, our wonderful pool servers Christian, Alejandro, and Genereo — you are all amazing. You always greeted us by name and consistently asked what you could do to make our day better. Muchas gracias!!! At the end of our stay, our flight was unfortunately cancelled, but front desk management Sergio and Daniel turned a very stressful situation into a much easier one. Thank you both for assisting us with an additional booking while we sorted out our flights. The bell boys, Daniel and Christian, were also amazing helping us with our luggage multiple times throughout our stay. We truly appreciate the outstanding service. Onto the restaurants…absolutely phenomenal. Our favourite was the Casa Cortez restaurant on the beachfront with fabulous views and fresh, amazing food. We did a fishing tour and caught a Mahi Mahi, and for a small charge we were able to bring it back to the resort, where they cooked and prepared it for us at lunch. Oh. My. GOSH. The attention to detail and the culinary skill they showcased was incredible. They prepared the fish five different ways, and we were completely blown away. Truly the best meal ever, thank you! All of the other restaurants were also incredible. We especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the Baja Grill Steak restaurant. The buffet was great for breakfast, though we didn’t find the dinner options as appealing. We didn’t have a chance to try the Indian Restaurant and the French Restaurant during our stay but heard good things. The food around the pool and “The Station” lunch spot was amazing…fish tacos, daily rotating grill items to build tacos or bowls, nachos, and just about everything you could imagine. All of it was fantastic! The rooms are great overall. Some are a little dated, but still very comfortable. The block around the kids’ pool has been newly renovated, and those rooms are modern and beautiful. Overall, this resort is a 10/10. We are even considering getting married here or at the Hyatt Ziva in Puerto Vallarta. Thank you, Hyatt Ziva, for the incredible hospitality—we will definitely be back!

A Great All Inclusive
The Hyatt Ziva is a very nice resort on a huge beach which is empty since the ocean isn't safe to swim in. There is lots of space at pools and lots of good restaurants. You don't need to sign up to go to a la carte restaurants or wear arm bands. Staff is friendly and helpful, food is good and plentiful, drinks readily available and brought to you. Entertainment team is fun with lots of activities. Evening shows good. Rooms big and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice balcony. We were on 7th floor with a wonderful ocean view. The elevator is small and could use an upgrade but was seldom full when we needed it. House wine wasn't fantastic but you could pay to upgrade. Very relaxing holiday.

Stay away from this Hyatt Ziva
Please do your research before booking at this Hyatt Ziva. There are plenty more options at Los Cabos. We wish there were more honest people working there, The front desk supervisor Erika P. Ruined our stay. We had reserved for 2 extra nights because we loved the resort, when we returned in the morning to do the checkout/ check in of the new room she wouldn't do it. Then I asked to speak to a manager, he was completely useless. We waisted almost 3 hours on my wife's birthday trip figuring out why they couldn't find the reservation when I even showed him the email. Then they said we'll we can only guarantee one night. And to come back the next day to see what to do about the second.I explained we had changed our flights already and coordinated back home with our sitter for the full two nights.we showed him our email reservation for the two extra nights. Worst part was the front desk supervisor Erika P. Raised her voice at my wife and belittled her on her birthday.
