    An absolutely amazing hotel in a fantastic location

    This is a wonderful hotel. The food is incredible. We are vegetarian and told the reception before we arrived and again soon after, so the choice and quality of food prepared was amazing. Special shout out to Lorena and Rodri on reception who have been on hand to answer all our questions and always help whenever we need. We came for my husband’s 40th and they even gave him a small complementary cake and best wishes for it which was really thoughtful! The rooms are absolutely massive and extremely clean and have all the amenities you could ever need. The housekeeping staff are excellent! There are water refil stations around everywhere. The activities on offer are extensive for adults and children and the staff really make this place into a super fun holiday. The kids club staff are kind and fun, the waiters and chefs and everyone really always greet you with a smile and warm welcome. The location is brilliant too - we went to Aqualand for a day and had a great time! During the evenings there are kids discos and live music in the lobby bar and then theatre / fun shows. There are lots of pools (included heated and salted water ones), there are a couple of other non-buffet restaurants too, good gym facilities, more than enough drinks bars / snack food, and a fantastic spa! The only small thing they need to improve is the pool sunbed situation. People wake up very early for no reason other than to “bagsy” sun beds and it is ridiculous for such a fantastic hotel to let that happen. It has made the holiday a bit silly in that respect as you’re always searching for a sunbed to sit or keep your stuff if you’re not able to get up at just before 9am! Which on a relaxing holiday is ridiculous. When we stayed at another hotel chain in Cyprus, they had a very organised sunbed system where the pool staff had written plans and you were allocated sun beds (which are all numbered) with the pool attendants helping you and they would remain yours during your stay at the hotel. This kind of system would be welcome here at Iberostar as it’s not very difficult to implement and also means that guests would not be “arguing” over nonsense! It would make the whole holiday perfect rather than just amazing - so it’s a very small issue - but definitely one Iberostar should consider! Apart from that, thank you for the most amazing holiday we’ve had in ages! It’s truly been incredible!

    Great place, disappointing costs

    Here for a much needed family holiday . While I must say the hotel and its staff live up to the 5 Star rating. It is clean, modern ( yet traditional) all the facilities and in a lovely position. However there is a but 🤔. I would really only recommend coming here on the “ All inclusive “ basis, as the prices are quite steep. Don’t get me wrong we normally do that every year but decided to go “Half Board” this year. The rationale was so we could go out to different places should we so wish. This was a big mistake indeed, although on arrival we were offered the upgrade to All Inclusive ( just short of 1000 euros) for a week I didn’t think it was worth it. I suppose at a luxury hotel it should be expected but I object to being charge 6.60 Euros for 2 glasses of water at the poolside bar. There are also no complimentary alcoholic drinks with the meals as well. I was also disappointed that we are only entitled to dine at the a la carte restaurant, there are other restaurants but you have to pay a supplement to use those. Also something that would have been nice to know when booking that there is a dress code for men at evening meals. Gents are to wear long trousers, had I been aware I would have packed some, so an emergency purchase had to be made. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place with fantastic service and people but from our experience you have to go all inclusive. A shame really as it’s put a slight cloud over our time away.

    Nice Hotel and Staff very poor pricing policy.

    This hotel is lovely, clean, modern and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is worthy of the 5 star rating that it is given, however there is a but that I feel is worthy of mentioning. Having always done all “all inclusive “ before we decided we didn’t want to be tied to the hotel and opted for the half board basis. Big mistake! While a great place it is very, very expensive with everything being charged for. Today I had the experience of paying 6.60 Euros for 2 glasses of water at the poolside. Also there are no free drinks with your meals with the drinks in my opinion having overly inflated prices. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to All Inclusive but at just shy of 1000 euros for 7 days I decided to decline. Further to this there is a dress code for evening meals ( this was not mentioned in the brochure) where men over 15 years have to wear long trousers. Had this been mentioned I would have packed some, not the multiple smart shorts I did. Also as we are half board we are also limited to the a la carte restaurant only, we could opt to eat at the others but you guessed it you have to pay extra. These things have put me off returning here which is a shame as it is a nice hotel with good people. But sadly I do feel like I’ve been mugged over the prices here. Don’t get me wrong this was not a cheap holiday by any means at all.

    Iberostar = 5 stars

    We booked this hotel on the basis of all the 5 star reviews received. From the moment we arrived at the amazing reception area we were not disappointed . A welcome drink and face towel to freshen up were just what was required after a long trip! Check in was very quick and our room was ready when we arrived around 1pm! Room was lovely and we booked a sea view suite which had a jacuzzi on the balcony. Minor gripe was child's bed was in main room rather than in living accommodation. The rooms are spotless and cleaned twice per day. We went all inclusive, the fact we didnt eat outside the resort for 8 days tells you how good the food was. The buffet was of high quality restaurant standard every day. Lobster, Sushi and duck featured one night as an example. 5 star. The drinks on the all inclusive package are also brands and not local only. Having done all inclusive before the food and drink standard was outstanding. Pool area brilliant, so much space and we got 5-8 beds together most days. The main pool is heated! Staff and entertainment staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. This was one of the best hotels out of the many i have stayed in

    Very nice hotel, great location!

    This is a lovely hotel with some great facilities. I stayed B&B, there are plenty of local restaurants and bars within walking distance along the seafront. It’s located in the quieter end of Adeje, which was perfect for us. But the livelier area is within walking distance. The breakfast is amazing, a huge choice of things, in 7 days I did not get to sample everything. The room was clean, they serviced it twice a day if required. The pool areas are nice, although it got busy quite early.
