5* hotel and food
The food choice was exceptional, lobster, smoked salmon, freshly carved Parma ham. The food delicious at Portofino Restaurant on site. The pool bar staff are so attentive, serving drinks round the pool. Very large complex with a great ambience.

Sea Soul Restaurant Food extremely poor
Just spent 10-days all-inclusive at this hotel. We hadn’t chosen all-inclusive at €110 per person per day. This was because we read on one trip advisor review, that they offered a discount when they arrived at the airport. They were right! We arrived and were offered 40% discount on the €110, so paid €68 per person per day for all-inclusive. Buffet food and service was excellent. Accommodation (duplex room - 2 floors), excellent. Main pool comfortably warm and great service. Service at the reception bar was excellent and staff made a huge positive experience. Could not fault them. The single let down was the food in the Sea Soul restaurant. We used 1 of 2 vouchers we were allocated for our room and all-inclusive. This restaurant is clearly NOT an Iberostar owned and not an Iberostar run restaurant. It’s a kinda bolt-on, and the staff have different uniforms and very rushed - definitely not Iberostar standards. The service It was very poor and the food was rushed and overcooked, tasteless - appeared worryingly very fast. We complained about the 1st course to the waiter, but he was ‘so not funny’….he said ‘but the main course is tender though’…what? We complained to the receptionist the following day, where they confirmed it wasn’t 100% Iberostar? Then they were surprised because they ate there too? They said management would review this and get back to me. Unfortunately we heard absolutely nothing more from reception or management . We were going to use the 2nd voucher for the Poseidon restaurant but were advised by another customer not to go there. We eventually went to the Portofino restaurant where the food was excellent. This was clearly 100% Iberostar owned and run. Would we return to this hotel? Actually no, our customer experience is clearly not important for management to get back to us as promised.

3rd Visit November 2024
3rd Visit November 2024 This was our third visit to this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. From the speedy check-in and out for our early morning flight home everyone we came across was helpful and happy to help with any questions we had. We stayed in room 5215, with a spectacular view of the ocean, the rooms are spacious and have everything that you would need for a stay at this hotel. The labelling of food allergies is one of the best that I have seen and I never had a problem with my nut intolerance for the whole week we were there. So much so we have already booked to return next year. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay very relaxing. See you next year

Tenerife at its Best
This was our second visit to the Iberostar Anthelia this year; our previous and our first ever visit was in March. Our return visit should tell you that we were very happy with our holiday in March, hence our return. On arrival we were checked in by Raquel, she was very friendly, professional and helpful. The room was excellent with a sea view and we settled in very quickly. The reason why we book the hotel and will return: The staff were friendly, supper efficient and attentive at all times. They certainly made the holiday special for us. The quality and variety of the food. The food provided at all three mealtimes was excellent and varied. The quality, position and cleanliness of the room was very good for the level of room that we chose. Finally, I would just like to compliment the organisation that trains the staff. The service we received was flawless from the day we booked into reception until we picked up our taxi on departure.

Great hotel in good location
This is our third visit to this hotel. It is excellent for a short holiday. The hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast buffet is plentiful and the pool area lovely. Overall the friendliness and efficiency of the hotel staff , particularly Yunisber at the pool area, always make the trip a great and memorable holiday.
