  Nice vocation overall

  An enjoyable vacation with a few issues. The good: overall, the food and restaurants were good. We enjoyed the Greek and the steakhouse. The burger restaurant wasn’t so good, though having access to the restaurants in the adjacent hotels added nice variety. The not so good: a few of us were unwell during the stay, which could have been down to getting used to the food and water. I’d say the burrito from the Mexican restaurant seemed like it had been sitting under the heater for a long time, and I suspect it played a part. The rooms were clean, except for some suspicious rice-like grains we found in the bed, even though none of us had eaten rice. The air conditioning was poor. It was cooler than outside, but certainly not cool enough for a settled night’s sleep. The water supply to the toilets could run dry in the morning. I guess it was a refilling tank that couldn’t keep up with morning demand. The water stations for filtered water were a good eco approach. I’d strongly recommend taking insulated flasks for each family member so you don’t have to keep going to the bar. The main pool was nice, the bars and cocktails were good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our main annoyance was the airport transfer from W2M, which the hotel recommended. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was in a dilapidated bus with no working seat belts and no air conditioning. Hardly the executive transfer we paid for, and a poor start to the holiday when you’re worrying about the safety of the children. The beach was lovely but suffered from seaweed this season. I guess we were just unlucky this trip. Overall would recommend for a family or inclusive

  Beautiful resort, great entertainment; subpar food

  The nature like grounds were beautiful. The entertainment was great; however the food could have been better. Buffet food was either left out too long, was unavailable or there weren’t any food options I could relate to. I love Iberostar resorts but not sure I would return to this one.

  Nice place to stay

  Nice place to go, beautiful beach of white sand, nice pools designed with originality and good food! I like the food designed and cared for by the Chefs.

  Will never use Iberostar Again

  My experience at Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites turned what should have been an enjoyable vacation into an experience I am still dealing with today. I became extremely ill during my stay. The illness was severe enough that it affected not only the remainder of my vacation, but also my ability to travel home comfortably and safely. By the time I was at the airport trying to return home, I was still extremely sick and dealing with significant gastrointestinal symptoms. Having to navigate an international airport while feeling that ill was miserable. The symptoms continued on the flight home, making an already difficult situation even worse. Instead of returning home rested after a vacation, I returned home sick. Unfortunately, it did not end when the trip ended. I have continued to experience digestive issues since returning home. What happened during this vacation has therefore had an impact well beyond the days I actually spent at the resort. I did report my illness to Iberostar, so the resort was made aware of what I experienced. I was extremely disappointed with the follow-up afterward, especially considering the seriousness of what happened and the fact that the effects have continued. Guests should feel that serious health concerns will be taken seriously, properly documented, investigated, and followed up on. I am sharing my experience because other travelers deserve to know what I went through. Being extremely ill at the resort, struggling through the airport, being sick during the flight home, and continuing to experience digestive problems afterward is not how I expected this vacation to end. I sincerely hope no other guest has to go through the experience I did.

  Fabulous first time!

  Stayed as a family of 4 visiting from the UK. First time staying here. From start to finish this is a great resort. Food, entertainment team and sports facilities are outstanding. A particular mention to Ninosca our designated concierge who went above and beyond in helping us whenever we had questions or needed guidance. Guest services were also extremely responsive when we needed something fixing.
