Don’t waste your money
We visited the last week of May 2025. We have stayed at many Iberostars but this was the worst. The airconditioning was not working, they sent multiple technicians before then stating that it was switched off and that it doesn’t come on until June. We were sweating and didn’t sleep at all during what was meant to be a relaxing holiday. The food was boring and no taste. Staff also expected a tip with every meal. The pool areas especially by the grass was dirty. There was also an awful garbage smell outside the rooms and often smelled of sewage. For the price we paid, it has put us off Palma completely. Don’t waste your money. Area also is not nice AT ALL! Full of typical brits abroad and tacky places.

Excellent hotel
This was our 6th visit to the hotel so that speaks volumes. Once again really enjoyed everything. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic views. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Lovely pools. Think they seem to have the pigeon problem more under control, we only saw one in the restaurant this time, personally still one too many. They are full of germs and could make someone seriously poorly especially if allergic to birds. Think if the restaurant doors to the outside were on an open/close system ALL the time this could be resolved. Also by leaving a couple of doors open it made it very hot and uncomfortable eating. Another small thing, the room wasn’t ready on our arrival which was disappointing. I know checking in is 3pm but all the other times we have been early it has been ready. Think next time would fly later. Complimentary lunch was offered and was very much appreciated. All in all would definitely stay again.

Perfect Relaxation
Perfect Peace & Exceptional Service… We recently stayed at iberostar Jardín del Sol & honestly it was exactly what we hoped for - rest & relaxation. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was second to none. We chose a swim-up junior suite & opted for all inclusive with Star Prestige. The hotel was spotless, the grounds beautifully maintained, & the atmosphere & views so serene - ideal for anyone looking to switch off & recharge. Every single staff member we encountered was a credit to the hotel. Oscar from guest relations was incredibly professional & handled every query with care & efficiency. Lucia at check -in made us feel immediately welcome. Faith, the lovely lady who looked after our room - always friendly, cheerful & excellent at her job. The Star Prestige bar team were fantastic- informative & genuinely friendly. Diana, thank you for making sure the ginger ale was restocked & letting us know when it arrived - such thoughtful touches don’t go unnoticed! At the pool bar Denise was a standout - warm, so friendly ,hardworking & always smiling. Food wise, the hotel exceeded expectations. The breakfast deserves 10/10. The lady preparing the omelettes was super & so calm under pressure. It was heartening to see the other chefs (Dan& others) stepping in to support her at busy moments - great teamwork! If we had to mention one small point - it would be the inconsistency around the beer service in the restaurant. My husband did not enjoy the Mahou beer on draft, the alternative was San Miguel & San Miguel 00 ( non -alcoholic) - some staff members served the original with no issue, while others ONLY offered the 00. It wasn’t a big problem, just a small point of clarification is needed amongst staff, it would help avoid a little frustration. Overall, our stay was outstanding. We came for peace, relaxation & great service - iberostar Jardín del Sol delivered on all fronts. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable holiday - we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

A relaxing end of season break
The perfect hotel to relax and unwind. We booked for a week at the end of October and had an amazing time. We booked all inclusive (star prestige) and had access to the star prestige pool and bar area which were lovely. The pool is heated and there were plenty of sunbeds, including balinese sunbeds. The pool bar staff were all superb. There was a good choice of drinks on the AI menu. The food was great! Lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main buffet restaurant. A special shout out to Juani who served us most nights and was so lovely! The restaurant itself is really nice as well; we sat outside most nights looking out onto the bay, which was a lovely view. The room was really nice and spacious. We had a whirlpool bath which was great and we used this several times throughout our stay. We had our mini bar stocked every day and the maids came twice a day with fresh towels. The main bar was really good. There were live singers on every night. The service from the bar staff was excellent. We also used the spa during our stay, which was really nice. The only thing to bear in mind is that if you are all inclusive and arrive early on your first day but have a late departure on your last day, you can only have lunch on one of the days and they ask you to choose which day upon check in. This is something we did not know before arriving. You can get snacks and drinks from the bar areas; they usually had wraps and sandwiches. Overall a really peaceful and relaxing stay, we would definitely recommend staying here.

A phenomenal holiday
We made the choice to upgrade to Star Prestige and for us, it was incredibly worth it! The extra places to sit and chill, the heated infinity pool and comfier sun beds all made it a winner for us. On the day of arrival we were greeted with flowers on the bed, a bottle of Prosecco and a cheesecake. Mini bar topped up daily. Now this is a place you will NOT go hungry, I am an extremely fussy eater and I’m now leaving at least a stone heavier😂 I saw a comment on here saying you eat like kings, and that really is the case. I love how eco friendly this hotel is, everything has been thought out; biodegradable straws, no plastic anywhere, water refill stations. Worth downloading the app, makes it a lot easier to know what’s going on, making requests and paying your invoice. My only con, and it’s really a me issue, is the beds (ours at least) was very firm, it had almost no give, I have a bad back so did struggle with this, but that’s not a fault of the hotel! They also have a very soft pillow and a hard pillow, we requested extra soft pillows and they didn’t arrive which was a shame. However, we did only chase it up once more, it’s not like we did keep asking! A spa on the last day did the trick to sort my back out and highly recommend booking one in- if you’re SP you get a discount. A huge thank you to all of the staff, every single member of staff stops and says hello and always looks happy to be there!
