  Well deserved praise of Sabila Selection

  A wonderful 2 weeks at Sabila Selection. ALL of the staff, room cleaners, toilet cleaners, bar, restaurant chefs & waiting assistants, animation team, pool sunbed organisers EVERYONE helpful, kind, interested, cheerful & genuine. The food had been amazing, the drinks generous & the entertainment pool side & evening brilliant as well as the craft activities. Difficult to select a few names but huge thanks to Carmen & Santiago, Christian, Andrew, Aaron and the girls, omelette Viktor, steak and fish Gora. Finally the always smiling, giggling cleaning lady pool side …. always happy in her work. THSNK YOU ALL - you are a credit to the hotel and made our stay great & memorable.

  Fantastic Hotel, Wonderful Staff and a Very Relaxing Holiday!

  We’ve just returned from a lovely week at the Iberostar Selection Sábila in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a modern, stylish feel throughout. Our room was very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the atmosphere around the pool area, which had a lovely relaxed vibe. The sunbed reservation system is also a great idea and works really well. One thing that deserves special recognition is how well the hotel catered for my wife, who is coeliac. Once the staff were made aware of her dietary requirements, they took great care to ensure her food was prepared separately to avoid cross-contamination, which is incredibly important for her safety. As the restaurant operates a buffet, we found it beneficial to arrive when it first opened, helping to minimise the potential for cross-contamination. The dishes were clearly labelled, including gluten-free and vegan options, which made choosing food much easier. Anything that needed preparing separately, such as chips or gluten-free pizza, was happily arranged by the staff. Naturally, this meant a little extra waiting time, but that was never an issue for us. We simply allowed for it, knowing the additional care was being taken. They even provided gluten-free beer, which was another welcome touch. Overall, we felt the hotel took her dietary requirements seriously, and the staff’s willingness to help made a real difference to our holiday. However, the standout feature of this hotel has to be its staff and the culture throughout the entire team. From the management to the waiting and service staff, everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful and attentive. There seems to be a real sense of pride in looking after guests, and it shows in every part of the hotel. It’s something that really makes this place special. We chose the all-inclusive option and were very glad we did. It gave us the freedom to enjoy everything without thinking about additional costs, from the minibar and coffee pods in our room to drinks around the pool and, of course, the ice creams! The hotel gym is perfectly adequate for general fitness. However, as someone who enjoys weight training, I decided to join the nearby Clan Fitness gym, just a four- or five-minute walk away. A week’s membership cost €28, and it had all the equipment I could possibly need. Definitely worth considering for anyone who takes their gym training seriously while on holiday. All in all, we had a fantastic, relaxing week. It’s a beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere, excellent facilities and, most importantly, a genuinely wonderful team of people who make guests feel welcome and well looked after. We would happily recommend the Iberostar Selection Sábila and would certainly consider returning!

  Absolutely amazing service

  Booking to go back! This hotel is amazing. The Iberostar team are simply incredible. They are super attentive, friendly and just so much fun- they’re there the minute your glass needs refilling and the food in the restaurants is amazing. I was truly super impressed with every aspect of this hotel. And the location is perfect- walking distance to everything, not that you need to leave! Pools were great, entertainment was fun, super clean and team had a really good spirit! Loved it .. well done Iberostar- this hotel rocks! 10/10

  A very enjoyable stay at this adult only hotel

  Fantastic service from the minute we arrived until we left. A very smooth check in, efficient and friendly with a complimentary drink while the paperwork is done. Our room (and the whole hotel) was fresh and modern, and always spotlessly clean. We liked the bird themed decor and the separate shower and toilet in the bathroom. An added bonus was the complimentary mini bar with alcohol and soft drinks available. The room had everything we could have needed. We were offered an upgrade to a sea view but as we planned to be mainly by the pool we didn't bother. Although we didn't have a great view it was nice and quiet. The other areas of the hotel were also lovely. It was all very spacious and relaxing, with a choice of bars and seating areas. My husband used the gym which he said was very good for a hotel, as it had an indoor and outdoor area. He also attended a spin class there, and we both enjoyed the aqua-aerobics. As it is an adults only hotel the pool area was very relaxing. Loved the booking system for the sunbeds. This meant we could choose exactly where we wanted to be, without that early morning rush. Being brought cocktails and ice cream by the pool was a very welcome touch. One day there was a bird of prey show by the pool which I really didn't think was necessary and felt very out of place. We were all inclusive so were very pleased with the food on offer. The buffet had such a wide choice, I'm sure everyone would be able to find something they liked. Each night there was a themed area as well as the usual food areas. We loved the seafood night and thought it would be very hard to beat, but the next night was sushi night which was even better, with lots of delicious and very fresh sushi available. The drinks were also of good quality. Often in all inclusive hotels they have cheap substitutes, especially with cocktails, but here they were very generous and served up fantastic cocktails. Loved the edible straws and the little bar snacks, only improvement possible could maybe be a wider selection of cocktails. I recommend trying the 'Scottish coffee' in the little cafe area - like an Irish coffee but with a scoop of ice cream! The entertainment was fine, nothing amazing but enjoyable enough while enjoying a post-dinner drink. The singers doing the Elvis and Elton John covers were very good. The entertainment tended to be held outside and if it was chilly they brought round blankets which was a lovely touch. Unusually for an all inclusive hotel they did allow non-guests to come in off the street. This would have been okay but they allowed families in with young children, and as an adult only hotel I found this strange. The location of the hotel, just a short drive from the airport, right next to the beach and promenade (a locked gate allowed direct access) was excellent, however the surrounding area is not great. To be honest it is quite tacky, so unless you want massage parlours and McDonald's it's best to stay in the hotel. We were only there for a short break so this didn't bother us, but if we were going for a longer stay we would have had to travel beyond the area to find somewhere nicer. We would definitely return to this hotel for another short break though, the standard (as always with Iberostar) was excellent.

  Excellent hotel. The location, the accommodation, the food and most importantly the staff are amazing. 100% there for you all the time. Restaurant team are particularly outstanding with Daniella being an absolute star. Abel you have a fantastic team! Thank you.
