Our stay at The Island House in Nassau was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. It’s not often that a hotel experience leaves such a lasting impression, but The Island House exceeded our expectations in every way. A special and heartfelt thank-you goes to Cash, Samuel, Bre’on, Jarvis, Latika, Kent, La’shan, Raegeen, and Ronisha. Each of you played a meaningful part in making our stay so memorable. Your warmth, professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed. You made us feel more like welcomed guests than customers, and that personal touch made all the difference. The food was extraordinary—every meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The amenities were excellent, providing everything we needed to relax, recharge, and enjoy our time in Nassau. But what truly elevated the experience was the service. Great stay!
I had a wonderful stay at The Island House during a solo work trip. I have stayed here many times, and although I did not recognize any of the familiar faces at the front desk, the team was extremely helpful, welcoming, and attentive to anything I needed. I had seen a few recent reviews mentioning poor customer service, but that was not my experience at all. Perhaps there has been a change in management or staffing, because the service throughout my stay was excellent. The bartenders were very attentive, room service arrived quickly, and the pizza was delicious. Although I was there for work, I still had a little time to relax and watch part of the World Cup. The atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable, making it a great place to balance work with a little downtime. I would happily stay again.

Avoid
High Price, some good service. Honestly, most of the staff see you as meat, and hassle for tips every second. The bar outside is terrible, delivered the wrong order, and then did not want to change it.. and i can ensure that a vegetarian does not order beef.

Lynn Lowe , The therapist in Island house ,Nassau
Six weeks ago I was in a skiing accident and my lower back was torqued which really aggravated an already present lumbar herniated disc that I’ve managed for years. After the accident, whenever I stood up from sitting down, I would get a shooting pain in my lower back. I did everything I knew to do to resolve it but still had pain. I wasn’t walking properly, was limiting my regular activities and movements and found myself being extra cautious in order not to aggravate the pain. When I went to see Lynn Lowe, the master therapist at The Island House, this pain was a 10 out of 10 and parts of my hip and back were really bound tightly. I was amazed that after one session of stretching and focused massage my pain had released and my tension was almost gone. I booked another session a day later and we were both pleased to see how my body stayed aligned and released even further. Lynn explained the importance of the exercises she gave me and re-inspired me to continue building my core strength. I am so grateful to have found Lynn and to have such an improvement so quickly – I have renewed hope that I can return to my active lifestyle. I am also very appreciative that she took the time to send me resources and refer me to a therapist in Spain, where I now live. Thank you, Lynn!
