Aug 10, 2026Love this place- rude beach staff!
First we lived this property! Our unit was 2 bedrooms and had every amenity we could imagine. I would definitely stay here again. Some units are individually owned. We loved ours. The location is perfect. Walkable to Whaler’s Village and Black rock. We were treated very rudely by the beach attendant! We sat under an umbrella at the end of the day- 4pm that we didn’t realize had been reserved. The attendant said someone reserved it until 5. He asked if we wanted to reserve, I said yes then he said we couldn’t because it was after 3. Ok so we move. Not 30 seconds later he closes up the umbrella and chairs and removes them. Says the family is done for the day. And instructed him to remove it. These are not personal umbrellas. They are for the guests staying there (which we were!). Our stay was magnificent otherwise. We will definitely stay here again. Hopefully with better beach staff next time.

Shower never had hot water. Water would barely be warm. Sink in laundry room got hot, so had to wash hair in that sink. After several attempts to contact front desk, always said same thing “boiler being fixed”. Not sure I would stay in this property again.

Loved our stay at Kaanapali Alii!! Great view from 4th floor. Unit very clean, spacious and well stocked. Location was perfect-quick walk to Whaler’s Village and Black Rock from beachfront path. Beach was not eroded like other complexes further to the south. Beach chairs were readily available and you could rent umbrellas if you wanted to. Pools and hot tub were clean and refreshing after a day at the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay. No regrets!
We stayed in room 1111 in April 2026. We only had two people so we had tons of room in this one bedroom 1500 sq ft unit. View was amazing. Pool was adequate. Beach service available for a fee or chairs for free. The Westin Luau is right outside so a bit noisy from 6-9 but it was early enough that it was not a problem for us. If anything, the view we had of their luau almost every night saved us the need of paying to go watch one ourselves. Overall, very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

Best Resort, Hands Down!
This resort is the perfect location for families. There's plenty of activity on the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Everything was neat and clean. We loved staying here. I'd book here again on a return trip!
