Aug 21, 2026This was our sixth trip to Maui and the outrigger Kaanapali beach resort and we would never stay anywhere else
We survived a 20 hour power outage due to Lala with Grace due to the great staff! We had a wonderful host who took such good care of us. She even decorated our room on my birthday with a handwritten note and beautiful card with chocolate!! Lyn was fabulous!

A Hui Hou, Maui
We absolutely loved our first trip to Ka’anapali Beach at the Outrigger. The location is superb, close proximity to everything we wanted to do without even renting a car. The beach, the shops, the restaurants…we could have stayed a month! But the people at the Outrigger have our hearts. The Friday afternoon sing along left me in tears with such an “Ohana” feel. Anela stayed in the lobby with us for over half an hour giving us the best education on all things beautiful about Hawaiian culture. She was just the sweetest spending her break answering all our questions and giving us such a rich experience. And Lyn…precious Lyn, our room attendant…she was so kind and lovely and took such excellent care of us. I will miss her alohas more than anything else on Maui. We definitely left a piece of our hearts there, but we will be sure to go back and get them!

Hurricane Lala and us
We arrived 2 hours before tropical storm Lala. The hotel lost power around 6 PM and was re-established around 10:15 the following morning. Just a minor inconvenience. The room was clean, and our housekeeper, Lyn, took excellent care of our room and us during our stay. This is a nice property, well positioned in relation to other amenities on Kaanapali Beach. Thank you to everyone at the Outrigger who helped to make our stay very pleasant.

Great stay here at outrigger!
Location was great, close to enough restaurants and 5 min drive from a big store, which came in handy as we were here for the hurricane. Room was clean and cleaning staff friendly. Maui brewing co on site was great. Quiet and relaxing. The storm battered the gardens, but the next morning the maintenance cleaned up the gardens and done a great job.

Lyn was amazing!she Knew our last name and kept our room very clean! Always saying aloha and mahalo! She was very sweet! Deserves a raise! Everyone was super sweet as well! We will be back! The Wilson’s!
