Aug 25, 2026Set The Bar For 5 Stars
We stayed here a couple summers ago. This resort experience set the bar for luxury 5 stars. Every little attention to detail made this experience the most memorable Carribean vacation experience we have ever had. Aside from the flavoured water stations, quality refillable bottles, cushioned beach loungers, frozen grapes given out at the beach, and the most comfortable beds and luxurious rooms, the best part of this was the people and how they make you feel. Remembering our names at every place we went to, a genuine wanting to ensure our stay is going absolutely perfect is what made this experience amazing. Food at every restaurant was spectacular, we never left the resort to eat anywhere else other than Bonny Moon. Happy hour was so good, and set up our evening dinners just perfectly. The beach is the best beach we have ever experienced, clear, clean, soft sand, absolutely perfect from the moment you step in. This Carribean resort experience was the first one that we said, we have to go back. We've been to Turks, Seven Stars; Ritz Aruba, but it was Kimpton that set the standard of luxury for us.

Magical, warm and memorable!
We had the most incredible experience on the island and at Kimpton Seafire. The staff is exceptional and makes your stay not only an elite experience, but also a warm one. If you’re a foodie, you won’t want to miss the chef’s experience at Avecita. The team is as unique and magical as the food. If you’re into mixology, make sure to swing by Library By The Sea. You’ll try concoctions you couldn’t have imagined. Most of all, if you’re traveling alone or with a partner, opt for the beach over the pool! The ocean is warm and the hotel brings food/drink service directly to you. A little bonus note: Grand Cayman is a great location for certified divers and you can get shuttles from Kimpton Seafire to your diving experience.

Aug 12, 2026Beautiful location on Seven Mile Beach; however, our overall experience was disappointing.
The resort is situated in a stunning location on Seven Mile Beach, which was undoubtedly the highlight of our visit. However, several issues negatively impacted our overall experience. Noise was a significant concern throughout our stay. Despite being on the ninth floor, we could clearly hear children laughing and guests having conversations, often word for word. The lack of sound insulation made it difficult to relax and enjoy our room. We also experienced issues with the toilet. When we reported the problem, the manager informed us that it would be looked at after our departure. In addition, we were not provided with any information about the afternoon social gathering in the lobby, causing us to not be prepared to join in on the fun. Dining at Ave was disappointing. The food was expensive and did not meet our expectations. The dishes did not appear as described or presented on the menu, making the experience feel overpriced and overrated. Service at Coccoloba Bar was also underwhelming. We ordered two frozen drinks, but by the time they were delivered, my drink had completely melted and was no longer frozen. The deposit refund process seemed disorganized as well. The manager had to source cash from another location in order to refund my deposit, which did not inspire confidence in the hotel's procedures. We were celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday during our stay, and unfortunately, the hotel did not make any special effort to acknowledge this important occasion. The one exception was Tarren Sedeman from Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman, who thoughtfully arranged for a beautiful birthday cake to be delivered to her room. This gesture was greatly appreciated and helped make her day memorable. I would also like to recognize Mussa and Shevon from the bell team, who were both exceptional throughout our stay. Additionally, Ina at the front desk provided friendly and professional service and was a pleasure to interact with. While the property's beachfront location is beautiful and several staff members provided outstanding hospitality, the noise issues, maintenance concerns, communication gaps, dining experience, and service inconsistencies detracted from what could have been a truly exceptional stay.

Some resorts are beautiful. Others are memorable. This one is both. Five lifelong friends traveled here to celebrate more than 40 years of friendship and honor the memory of a dear friend who was supposed to make this trip with us. Three years ago, we canceled after her cancer diagnosis. Alejandra in reservations told us, "When she is better, you will come back." Sadly, she never got the chance, but we came in her honor. From the moment we arrived, General Manager Yan Gillet and his incredible team made us feel truly cared for. Every employee, from the front desk and concierge to housekeeping, beach attendants, restaurant staff, and valet, provided genuine warmth and exceptional service. It's clear this culture starts with outstanding leadership. The resort is stunning, with immaculate grounds, beautiful beaches, incredible pools, and outstanding dining. But what truly sets it apart is how they make you feel. Thank you, Yan and your entire team, for giving us far more than a vacation. You helped us celebrate our friendship, honor our friend, and create memories we'll cherish forever. We can't wait to return.

Awesome property - We will be back
My wife and I visited the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Grand Cayman and had a fabulous time. This is a beautiful property and the service was 5 star all around. From the breakfast team to the pool staff everyone was as nice and courteous as they could be. The staff remembered your name and preferences. The room was very nice and well equipped with an amazing ocean view. During the day the staff would walk around with ice pops and frozen grapes. Everything on this property is 5 star. We will be back
