  Disappointed

  The service, food, and accommodations were outstanding, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, while we were enjoying the pool, someone went through my personal bag and my husband’s belongings, and $500 in cash was missing. We immediately brought it to management’s attention, but they denied any responsibility. I cannot say for certain who took the money, but the experience was extremely upsetting and left us feeling unsafe and disappointed. Oh and a speaker

  AN INCREDIBLE RETURN VISIT

  This was a return trip and so much fun. My previous trip was a romantic couple's escape with my partner, and this most recent trip was a "best pal getaway" with my closest friend of many decades.  We had such a wonderful time and the staff at La Casa Que Canta remained as helpful and wonderful as always.  We stayed in the VALENTINA Suite which was just perfect for us.  A very large outdoor living area which provides both sun and shade options throughout the day. We literally lived here for the duration of our stay. The plunge pool was very good sized and at a perfect temperature.  While it is the beginning of the "green" season and quite hot + humid, we had little rain, except for one afternoon thunderstorm which we found endlessly entertaining while reading and working on a puzzle. As our suite was near the top of one of the three buildings that house all of the rooms/suites, the breeze was heavenly and just perfect. We did not venture off property this trip and ate all of our meals at the hotel which we found incredibly satisfying and surprisingly affordable. Breakfast was included in our rate and always varied and delicious. I loved their morning green juice!  A meal highlight one evening was a fresh whole Huachinango (red snapper) simply prepared with oil + light herbs, lemon & garlic... jaw droppingly delicious - so memorable. The property continues to be a personal favorite of mine. The style is a very authentic upscale Mexican design...think more old school classic than Four Seasons/Rosewood "bling" but the entire property exudes such an authentic sense of place I am always mesmerized the moment I walk into the front gate of the property. The staff remains as lovely as always. So incredibly helpful during the reservations process(I had a million questions on my suite selection and Laura the front of house manager was incredibly patient and so dedicated to helping me select the perfect suite for our "Palapalooza" trip!). The entire team exudes genuine kindness with a quietly attentive manner/disposition that I so appreciate + respect.  A wonderful getaway and this hotel will always hold a special place in my heart. I look forward to another visit when time permits.

  This is paradise! Safe and relaxing way to enjoy Mexico in complete luxury surroundings

  We had a wonderful stay at Casa Que Canta. First, I’ll say that I was a little nervous to go because of the news reports about Mexico. Turns out there was absolutely no need to worry- everything is safe and normal in Zihuatanejo. We’ve visited twice before and it was as peaceful and beautiful as ever. We stayed at the villa called El Ensueno. The hotel staff is exceptional- they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was amazing, the rooms were clean and bright with gorgeous views. The pools are warm and well designed for both swimming and relaxation. Thank you to Ramona, Chef Carrie, Yesenia, Jose Luis, Eloin, and the many others who made our stay so special.

  Exceptional private residence, fully staffed, super safe, with views from every room! Worth it!

  We stayed for a week at El Ensueno, one of the villas, and it was fantastic! First of all it was VERY SAFE. The home includes full time staff and overnight security. But the town was peaceful and full of folks just enjoying the beautiful beach and laid back atmosphere. The rooms and decor are excellent and well maintained, very clean and peaceful. Meals are delicious, tailored to the preferences of the guests (we had kids to feed as well) and drinks and snacks are available anytime. The staff could not be kinder nor more attentive. Every room has its own private infinity pool and there is a stunning large pool for the house to gather at. We loved how everyone could gather comfortably around the pool and dining areas. This house and the main hotel that it is a part of is well worth what you spend.

  First Class Experience!

  If you are looking for a first class experience - this is it! The property is absolutely beautiful, and they have 25 unique rooms located in three different buildings with sweeping views of the bay and ocean. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind (thanks Semey and Dina!). The dining is wonderful and reasonably priced - don't miss the tamarindo margarita at your sunset dinner! They have an infinity pool and saltwater pool, both with great views. One of the nicest places we have ever been to.
