  “Las Brisas” Without a doubt, it is a place I would like to visit again.

  “Las Brisas” Four years ago, my family and I planned a trip to Huatulco, Oaxaca. Through a travel agency, they recommended the Las Brisas hotel, and it looked really beautiful. After waiting for a long time, we finally arrived in Huatulco. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff gave us excellent service and were very kind to us. Later, they took us to our rooms. The room I stayed in was called “Nubes.” The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They also offered soft drinks in each room, and we had an excellent view of the sea, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the things I liked the most about the hotel was that it offered transportation to visit different beaches. We also enjoyed the swimming pools and the beautiful landscapes around the hotel. Finally, my whole stay was very pleasant, and I really enjoyed the trip with my family. I totally recommend Las Brisas hotel to anyone who wants to visit Huatulco because it has beautiful facilities, excellent service, amazing views, and many activities to enjoy. Without a doubt, it is a place I would like to visit again.

  Wonderful but buffet needs improving

  Wonderful resort. I would suggest that the lighting in the buffet be changed to a softer, less harsh, lighting. It is extremely bright and not pleasant.

  Decent Resort BUT Would NOT Recommend

  We recently stayed at Las Brisas Huatulco as a family of four. While we had a decent stay overall and enjoyed the natural surroundings, several major issues—particularly regarding lost property and basic amenities—mean we will never return. The Good * Beaches: The beaches at the resort were absolutely amazing—easily the standout feature of the property. * Food: The food across every restaurant was good and consistently enjoyable, though it never quite reached "great." * Rooms: The rooms themselves are nothing spectacular, but they are comfortable and serve as one of the few places in the entire resort that stay reliably cool. The Major Issues & Drawbacks * Lost Property & Unreliable Service: We fully acknowledge that leaving our GoPro camera behind inside the desk drawer after checkout was our own oversight. However, we contacted the hotel just a couple of hours later while still at the airport. At any trustworthy resort—and even at lesser-prestige hotels where we've accidentally left items before—we expected staff to retrieve the item and ship it to us at our expense. Instead, the GoPro disappeared from the drawer, the hotel's investigation yielded nothing, and we permanently lost the camera along with the memory card holding all of our family memories. * Room Maintenance Issues: In Room 2331, there was a recurring, random smell of sewage during our stay. * Not a True "All-Inclusive": Room service is not included in the all-inclusive package and comes with an extra fee, which I have never experienced at an all-inclusive resort. Basic requests are nickel-and-dimed—we couldn't even get extra bottled water delivered to our room without paying extra. Restocking only two water bottles a day for a family of four is completely inadequate. * Uncomfortable Dining Conditions: None of the dining areas have air conditioning. Every single meal throughout our entire trip was uncomfortably hot, making dining a constant struggle. * Sprawling, Inconvenient Layout: The rooms are situated very far from both the beaches and all of the restaurants. While shuttles run throughout the property, waiting and relying on transportation every time you need to grab a meal or return to your room becomes a major daily hassle. * Rigid Towel Policy: The resort uses a strict towel-card swap system. If you leave your cards in your room, you have to make the long trip all the way back across the property just to get towels. * Overpriced Spa: The spa charges prices comparable to luxury spas in the U.S., but the actual facilities and services are completely average and do not justify the cost. Final Verdict While the coastline is gorgeous and the room air conditioning works well, the lack of reliability regarding lost property, maintenance issues, extra charges for standard all-inclusive perks, stifling dining areas, and inconvenient layout mean we cannot recommend Las Brisas Huatulco and will not be returning.

  Customer Service Improvement

  Hotel itself is beautiful... Ocean Views and Beaches are great... Customer service at Front Desk and Concierge needs to improve. I got sick the first night from the food in the buffet (dinner). Throwing up all night at around 3am the power goes off for about 2 hours. I was sick for 3 days with the stomach bug. No DR on site had to get a taxi to town to see a DR. upon returning reported to Front Desk (no apology) pass the buck to concierge, and concierge treated us like we were making it up and instead of being understanding we were being interrogated as we were not asking for nothing for free or a refund. we just wanted them to be informed that a got sick from the food, and aging no apology or any kind of correction to be taken from hotel. We lost 3 days of enjoying the amenities and had to cancel our tours that we had scheduled prior.
