Dec 16, 2025A very relaxing trip!
Loved our stay! Very laid back atmosphere. The fun crew was great. They knew all our names and were very personable. All the staff were wonderful and worked hard to make sure we were taken care of. The rooms were spacious and clean. Amazing view of the ocean. AC worked great. Food was nothing amazing- but not bad either. Incredible beach! You could see the fish swimming around you. We spent many hours with our kids snorkelling. Our kids also enjoyed all the “extra” activities available- the pool tables, the pickle ball court, bird watching, etc. Did a turtle release excursion which was cool- but the drive there was HORRIBLE. They are doing construction on a main highway for an extended length- and I can honestly say it was the scariest drive I’ve ever taken.

This was a last minute booking, we had been to Huatulco 5 times previously stayed at, Secrets twice, Dreams once, Barcelo once and Binniguenda once , was hesitant to book at Las Brisas due to the size but was interested about the beaches. Beaches were great, easy swimming and snorkeling, which definitely made the visit worthwhile. We felt the food was pretty good, the lunch time buffet had a really good salad bar and plenty of hot choices, our favourite restaurants were Kasbah and the Mexican. Staff were wonderful and our room was nice with a lovely view. I have bad knees and walking to our room was impossible so we had to rely on the shuttles, most times we did not have to wait long but on two occasions we waited over 30 minutes, which made us late for our reservations. My other problem was the fumes, some of the shuttles have seen better days and the fumes did not make my lungs happy. I would rate this resort a solid 3 1/2, as it is the oldest rest in the area and is showing its age. That said if you are fit and like to walk up and down hills or would be happy taking the shuttles, this resort could be for you especially if you get a good deal.

The beach is beautiful but it was our honeymooon and they didn't care..
I've been to other all inclusive resorts, this was our honeymoon and decided to stay in this resort. The last time we stayed in an all-inclusive was because of my husband's birthday (boyfriend back then), they made it so special with banners and little details. This time was our HONEYMOON and they didn't do anything special for us, when we arrived the service was ok, it felt like we were bothering them at some point. We are so regretful of deciding to stay at this resort instead of other for our honeymoon, because I know other resorts go above and beyond to make it special. We stayed in the honeymoon suite with private mini pool, this is the most expensive room in the resort.. and they didn't do anything! the beach is beautiful but it's Huatulco, there's beautiful beaches there.

Absolutely best vacation of all time
Absolutely wonderful vacation, staff excellent very friendly. Grounds were in precise condition. Never waited long for trolly. Absolutely best part was the beaches. I can’t complain about nothing.

Great way to celebrate dad’s retirement!
We had such a great time at Las Brisas Huatulco. Our favorite was playing bingo by the pool. My dad won the game and it made his day. This was the perfect way to celebrate his retirement. The workers that really made it a good time were Braulio, Maximiliano, Adiel, y Aurelio and Jeshua. They were so lively during the games and were super fun to engage with!
