    Great Stay

Amazing service. Excellent food. Incredible staff. Augusto the waiter was so kind, funny, and attentive. The entire staff was wonderful. Make sure to do the nature courses, including the music of plants class. All of the restaurants and room service food options are delicious. Bladimir the waiter will always make sure you have a nice experience.

A little island with a lot of glorious scenery and comforts.

We were there for almost three weeks working on a film in the DR. The island was magical and the food varied and excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The services were amazing, with ecological workshops like listening to plants, yoga and sound baths. There was even a full moon ceremony on the beach! I missed not seeing more of DR. I would stay there again for a week to 10 days at most, then move to another part of the DR to see more of the main island. I will definitely go back there again!

    True Paradise

Cayo Levantado is by far the best all-inclusive hotel my husband and I have stayed at. It’s absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous beach, stunning views and lovely (natural) landscaping. It felt like a dream arriving by boat at night! Our room was spacious and lovely and the shower was wonderful (as well as the provided beauty products including the coconut moisturizer). The resort is extremely quiet and peaceful. The food is delicious and far above the level of other all-inclusive resorts. The cocktails are very carefully prepared and presented, and the included wines are excellent. We loved the sustainability aspect (no plastic anywhere). The whale watching trip from the hotel pier was highly memorable and we were lucky enough to see many whales. But the best feature of all are the wonderful people who work here. Everyone is so friendly, kind, helpful and professional! I wish I could list everyone. But we’d like to particularly mention our charming ambassadors Emma and Mariela, and all the amazing servers here including Augusto, Bladimir, Thalia, Cristin, Jose Mariano, Maria and Miguel. I’m very sorry for not knowing more names since it was a pleasure meeting every single person we interacted with! Also, we loved our afternoon coffees and conversations with Maria Christina in the cafe, Yorgelis in the lobby bar made fabulous drinks, and Maria Cristina cooked the best pancakes in the breakfast buffet! Muchísimas gracias a todo el mundo por una estancia inolvidable! We truly hope we can return soon to see everyone and enjoy this paradise again.

Excellent place to relax and recharge

We recently visited Cayo Levantado and all I can say is that it met all our requirements as a really good place to relax and recharge. I'm not a fan of all-inclusive hotels but this one does meet our standards with premium brands and a-la-carte menus from various restaurants. Food was really good and cocktails were also on par with food. Even the mini bar and room service is included. Talking about rooms...you may want to splurge on the Ocean/beach Front suites. These are right next to the beach club/pool, really spacious and feature everything you may want. They also have a small plunge pool. If you want something a bit more economical go for anything that says sea/ocean view. The service is excellent and the ambassador model of handling your requests is very nice as you have an assigned person that you can reach via WhatsApp. If you are looking for late night party / music scene this is not the place. Also, you may want to skip visiting the local area...this is one of those hotels you want to stay in and enjoy the whole facilities. They do have a DJ on the hotel beach club and some shows and music after hours on the public beach, which is closed after 6 pm and only available to guests. The hotel beach is private and right next to the lower/beach pool. There are also several other activities (health, fitness, nature, etc) and you will get the schedule during the day via WhatsApp. There's another pool with bar and restaurant right in the middle of the island. Everything is within walking distance but they also have golf carts running around in case you don't feel like walking. While we did saw kids and wouldn't call this a kid friendly hotels as there are not many things for them. Only down side to Cayo Levantado is access. This place is in the Samana region and took us 2:30 hrs. via private SUV to get to the dock from Las Americas Airport in Sto Domingo. So it's not a short trip. If you got the $$$$ the Island does have a heliport... In a nutshell I would visit again Cayo Levantado for sure when a short getaway vacation to relax is needed and want everything cover from the day I arrive. This is one of the few all-inclusive I would recommend if not the only one.

    Great stay

Overall our stay was great. The food was good especially at Carey,Santa Yuca and Manaya. The steak however one day was over cooked. Also the resort forgot to book us a car from the airport and ended up in a cramped vehicle, which was very uncomfortable and resort was not helpful. However you need to know Spanish because staff barely speak English. Our villa was cozy and beds were comfy. The pools were great and so were the beaches with tons of activities. Overall great stay in general.
