The location is right by the beach, which makes the whole stay even more relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The atmosphere is truly unique you feel it from the moment you arrive. Great value for money, absolutely worth every dollar. The service was among the best I’ve ever experienced. They also offer excellent activities for kids especially with Geovanny, who made it extra special for them.

Honeymoon in paradise
Jheovany was such a helpful person at Mahekal, very kind and gave us so much advice on where to go and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend staying at Mahekal!

A great place for our Winter vacation
We spent 2 weeks at Mahekal, our 2nd visit to this terrific resort. The best things about this place are the exceptional staff, the beauty of the grounds, and the food. The staff is just uniformly warm, welcoming and helpful. We had the all-inclusive plan and ate all our meals in the restaurants. My husband is vegan, and they prepared fresh, fabulous options for him at every meal. The breakfast buffet was delightful. The staff there, especially Manuel, Marcos, Paola, and Jessica, were so kind and attentive. We really felt special. The menu at Fuego, where we had most of our lunches and dinners, was varied enough that I didn’t even have time to try everything on the menu in 2 weeks. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The staff at Fuego were all terrific, especially Wilberth, Roberto, Brian, and Daphne, Miguel and Ruben. We loved strolling around the grounds where we often saw little animals such as agoutis, coatis, iguanas, and the adorable tepezcuintle. My husband swam in the ocean and ran on the beach, and I liked sitting around the pool reading books, and walking on the beach. Our butler, Abraham, always responded immediately when we needed anything. Last year, we went on some adventures, but this year we were content to stay around the resort and occasionally wander through the nearby 5th Avenue shopping area. We can’t wait to return to Mahekal.

Sound Healing Spa Experience
We had the opportunity to experience a private sound healing session with Jesus at the Hotel Mahekal Beach Resort spa, while being immersed in a hot water jacuzzi. It was an additional indulgence, but it was absolutely worth it. The session offered a deeply calming and restorative experience, allowing the body to fully relax as the mind settled into soothing harmonic sounds. It was both a soul healing and memorable highlight of our time at the Hotel Mahekal Beach Resort.

Geo the Master of Ceremonies
Geovanni is excellent leading the activities. Me and my wife have done Zumba on the beach , stretching by the pool and I made a Mexican Craft masterpiece with his guidance. Go Geo , the King of Dance 🕺
