This was our second trip here. Special thanks to Martina (french restaurant). You were always so happy to serve us. Your laughter and friendly attitude was a pleausre. Special thanks to Josefina (Club manager). After having troubles with assigned butler "Henry" (lazy, not friendly, liar), you took over and we appreciate it very much. Special thanks to Isabel and Jose at the family pool bar. You both were over the top friendly. We returned to this resort the 2nd time due to the fact we had an excellent experience the first time visitng. Henry the butler misinformed us on so many occastions, lied and kept pushing us to other people to get the help we wanted. Question is why did we pay for club when the butler refused to do anything for us except misinformed us. The food is excellent at the French restaurant. However, the buffet even though lots to choose from, it was a hit and miss for temperature. Example: scamble eggs should not be cold. Beautiful clean beach. They purchased new blue pool loungers which were more comfortable then the old metal ones.

Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana
Great experience again at the Majestic, this was our second time going to this resort. Our butler was Anderson, I would highly recommend him. He did a great job, very quick to respond when I asked questions and very attentive. Weather was amazing for being the end of the rainy season.

Still Love this Place!
We were here from Oct. 27 – Nov. 3, just a few days after they reopened from some internal renovations. The grounds are pretty darn perfect, they are amazing. While everyone has their personal taste, the restaurants have good food for an all-inclusive resort, and you won’t go hungry. Is it five-star dining? No, but you aren’t paying for that level of dining either…it’s an all-inclusive. I think everyone can find something they like. The bars all have great drinks, and the bartenders are very knowledgeable about most drinks, and no…the drinks are NOT watered down. We stayed on the Club Side in a 1-bedroom suite, room was clean like it always has been before. When our butler brought us to our room (same room we have had on all visits), he shared the new app with me. This app has a lot of information in it, but the biggest change is you can now make your own dinner reservations through it, which I did with no problem. I think most will like that better than the butler doing it because you can see what days/times are available before you make the reservation…at least I did. Lastly, a recurring complaint I have is the sound at the evening shows in the theater, and I understand that probably isn’t a big deal to most. The entertainers work their butts off, but now for the third time I will say, hey Majestic…hire someone that knows how to run a soundboard. This is a fixed setting, unlike when I was touring, playing music, and our sound engineers had to adapt to new surroundings each night. This really is just a matter of getting the sound set right and hitting a “save” button and using those settings for each show they are saved for each night that show is playing. Entertainers deserve so much better. After about the third or fourth song of the Rock Show, the place was a mass exodus. Very sad. I will also say, the Dominican Night, that show is just outside of the theater in the bar area, it has some of the best dancers of all the shows here…it really needs to be in the theater where folks can see them better. JMO. All of that said, I HIGHLY recommend this resort, we have loved it for 3 times and I am sure we will be back!
