Rooms were wonderful comfortable beds and awesome pillows. The Japanese, Buffet and Le Gourmet had the best food on the resort. The Rodeo Grill and the mexican restaurant had ok food but nothing to write home about. Samuel is the best butler ever. He made our experience a memorable one. He is one of a kind.

Amazing entertainment crew
I enjoyed my stayed at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana. Every staff member was excellent. But the entertainment crew exceeded my expectations . They interacted with all the guests and made sure that everyone was having a good time. I highly recommend Majestic Colonial Punta Cana to anyone that loves to have fun in a safe environment.

Overall a great trip. Traveled with my parents (60s), spouse, and kids ages 7, 4 and 1. The resort and rooms were clean and pretty. The food and drinks very good. The beach was beautiful and calm enough for us all to enjoy. The activities team were very hard working and always had something for the kids to do despite there not being a playground and the water park was small. They brought out an inflatable slide and obstacle course for the pool, bull riding, crafts etc. There was something every day. The evening entertainment was also great and had many options. Plenty of snacks brought to our room and stocked with mini bar. Room service was also good. Cons: 1/7 in our group did get sick from food, however I was honestly just glad it wasn’t more people based on stories I hear about Punta Cana. That person was sick about half a day (worn out all day) so a bummer. It was definitely from something they ate and not sun or alcohol or sugary drinks as some claim. The water park is very small. My kids still had fun. There is no coffee shop or ice cream shop which we would have loved but knew going in. Also for anyone with very small kids note that the rooms are all stone and tile and very slippery (dangerous for a rambunctious one year old) as was tile around the pool. Felt like we couldn’t let go of one year olds hand.

May 14, 2025TERRIBLE WIFE AND CHILDE STUCK IN ELEVATOR NO WAY OUT
I have a signed incident report that is signed by the resort manager. This issue is deeply concerning. My wife and daughter got stuck in an elevator with no ventilation and no way out for over 15 minutes. Staff failed to have a system in place to open the elevator doors. All keys failed to work when maintenance tried to open the doors. I had to manually rip open the elevator door for air circulation which eventually opened wide enough to pull my daughter and wife out. My daughter is 3 and my wife suffers from mental illness. Nothing was done to make this wrong right. We were offered a message. When returned home customer service basically said too bad. PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT.

Great relaxing time
We had a fabulous time. Wanted to get away and just chill. We chose the adult section. The rooms are large and clean. Our butler Emanuel was great, always available. Best restaurant was Le Gourmet. Junior, Mota, Arianna & ElPidio were super. Seafood restaurant was tops, Japanese also. Some of the buffets we felt needed to keep the food hotter. Caribbean restaurant we felt very rushed. All in all a great time.
