Jan 20, 2025Friends having a great time at Makestic Elegance
Our experience and stay was excellent. This was our 3rd visit, and our best. The staff was amazing. - Victor (Our Butler) Super Star. Took care of everything, and was always friendly and very helpful. - Ismael Castillo (Bartender) was great. One of the reasons we came back to the same bar was of him. He remember everyone’s names/drinks and made our time all day fun. - Ricardo, Jesus, and Walliam. All just amazing people and went above and beyond. It was my wifes birthday during the week, and they all made her feel very special on her day. - Check in process was good, we met the GM, but seemed like a long process. We just were tired and wanted to get to our rooms. - Dinners and buffets were all amazing with one exception. The steak house was just ok. Wasn’t a big fan of it. - A few of our bracelets were falling apart after a few days, but replaced at the main desk without any problems. - Making reservations for dinner at the different restaurants. I went to make reservations at the counter, or at each restaurant. Seemed like a struggle. We did have a party of ten, but Victor always made it work. - Bartender and the main bar were amazing. No issues. Loved it - Bathrooms - All clean, and staff super friendly - Entertainment - Was better than the last time we were here. Most of the shows were good. You could tell the entertainers and dancers worked hard, and cared. Rock show was the best. Mike Jackson was good, but couldn’t hear the words. Least favorite. - I’m an early riser (up by 5am most days) and like to have coffee outside my room. I wanted a few cups of coffee, and read. Nothing really opens up until 7am, and didn’t like the coffee machines. - Went to the front desk numerous times to get change for a $100 bills during the week - so that I could tip the staff, but walked away because they couldn’t help me. I had to get my butler involved. If he was off, or left for the day I had to wait until the following day. Overall - Our experience was very good. The team, and staff that served us, cleaned our room, and just walking by were super friendly, and helpful. Everyone was smiling, and seemed happy. Long New Years Vacation
Nice vacation as always. Nice rooms, great beach, good drinks, service is superior. Great team ! Mr. Gutierrez is always around making sure everything up to the standard. Very good value for the money . Maxima’s Bar is a great spot by the beach to have a good drink by the ocean! Maxima is a legend !!!! People love Maxima and her helper Angelina. They are always there to make sure you are happy. I have to say one thing New Years dinner was suppose to something very special , however didn’t turn out to be the best . My suggestion is to keep it simple , you can’t serve so many people and have a complicated menu. We didn’t hold that against the resort, they really tried to impress but … Anyhow always recommend this resort to my friends. Definitely planing to be back . Also Dario is a great butler, he definitely looks after his guests . Maxima can’t wait to have a Gin tonic soon !!! Cheers TH

Wonderful experience
My stay here was simply wonderful. Stood in the elegance club with my wife and our butler, Melvin Rojas, was the standout, he was very attentive and took care of all our needs. The staff everywhere was wonderful and really helped us with everything we needed. Maxima and Angelina the bartender from the elegance club pool, and Robin from the restaurant made us feel like home and part of the family. This was our fourth time staying in this resort and already looking forward to the fifth.

The staff at our resort, Cardi B, GG and Eddie Murphy helped make our vacation super fun! I love that they made an effort to include us in activities. My daughter and I loved following Cardi B's dance moves and had great Salsa lessons from Scooby Doo, GG and Eddie. They all made our vacation so much fun and hope to be back to DR soon! Drinks and steak/hibachi restaurants were wonderful, other food just OK. All staff were super friendly resort was beautiful, especially the sunrises at the beach.

Best kept secret!
We had another fabulous trip to Elegance! Victor or butler was the best!! Angelina and Santa made the beach our favorite spot! See you all again soon! The steakhouse and Japanese were our favorites for dinner and the sea and sea was the best buffet. Entertainment could use a little refresh but still entertaining! For the value and location and weather, Majestic Elegance is our perfect vacation
