Dec 08, 2024Beautiful property but some disappointing issues.
Overall, we enjoyed Majestic Elegance. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Standard Dominican daily buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sea & Sea restaurant near the beach also had breakfast and lunch buffet which was a great spot for morning coffee. Restaurants offered good variety and friendly staff. A couple negatives include lack of available seating at the beach and around the Elegance Club pools. When people reserved a bally bed, they also locked up the two pool chairs in front of it so seating for those that didn’t go out at sunrise to reserve space were SOL. Chairs need to be separated from the bed and there needs to be more of them. Maybe, put a time limit on reserved chairs so they’re not hogged sunrise to sunset whether there is anyone there or not. Very disappointing. The ”butler” that came with Club Elegance was very personable but of no value. We tipped $20 up front and after his property tour, never saw him. Not sure if the app didn’t work or he just chose to not respond to questions. Rooms are also in need of maintenance. Several drawers were broken and unusable. Would we return? Maybe. But paying the upcharge for Club Elegance was of little value.

Majestic Elegance The property is Amazing. Clean from tip to bottom. There was not 1 piece of trash was anywhere. The workers were in the pools before sun up scrubbing, no cups were left lying around, beaches were clean. Our room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels, pillows fluffed, mini bar restocked EVERY DAY! We had the 1 bedroom suite swim up room in the CLUB LEVEL AREA. Room # 3110. Our butler was Osvaldy. From start to finish he made sure we were taken care of. So kind, so patient, so helpful, was spot on with all of our needs. It was my 50th Birthday & he was sure to decorate the room exactly as my husband asked. My husband ate something that didn’t agree with his stomach. He had the bartender make him a concoction that DID THE JOB! He felt better instantly, Thank you. The pool outside of our room was so MAJESTICAL. It was peaceful, quaint & the swim up bar was simply fun. Pools are endless! Although we had our own private pool area with Club Level, we could enjoy poos around the property if we wanted a change of scenery. Restaurants; No reservations needed accept for French & Japanese. The steak house was by far our favorite. Definitely go for the Ribeye. While you wait, visit the bar and get a good Ole Fashion! So cool how they make it. Food portions & quality was perfect. The buffets and options were more then enough everyday. See and Sea…No Bueno. Breakfast & Lunch, it’s worth the walk to the Buffet. They never seemed to have food. We didn’t bother for dinner because of our impression for the breakfast & lunch options. (We met some couples who had been here previous years & they said that See and Sea had fallen off). CESAR at the buffet,,,A+! Sit in his section! Beach area for the VIP CLUB next to the water sports area is crowded. Walk down the beach to the private beach area. It’s more spacious. You can use the VIP pool & bar there as well. Entertainment: DISCO SHOW…10 10 10! Wow! Best show! Don’t miss it! Each night they put on some excellent shows followed by more entertainment in the lobby or at the Tiki bar, or the Club, or the Sports bar or the casino. You won’t be bored! Unless you want peace & quiet, it’s easy to find. Drinks; Made RIGHT! CLUB LEVEL does have top shelf…so does the theatre bar. “Ask for Tito’s or Heineken” They have it. Your Welcome. Beer shots are a real thing. Just get them made with 43! CON* Smokers* cigars & cigarettes are smelly in some of the common areas & that was disappointing to my husband and I. We don’t like the smell and would expect less in such a beautiful hotel but again, it was so clean you wouldn’t know it other then the smell! *We didn’t see an ash tray* but we smelled it occasionally. Overall Experience 10 out of 10! We already booked our return vacation!

Majestic Elegance-Kudos to Arling, Carlos and Noel
This was our second trip to Majestic Elegance and can't say enough about how wonderful it was. Our butler, Arling, is the best. He truly enjoys his job and guests. He loves having repeat guest and it shows. Arling is wonderful man. Also a special shout out to Carlos and Noel at the Steakhouse for supper and the Sea and See for lunch. You made our dining so much fun and always made us feel special. Can't wait to go back.

The best holiday
We had the best experience in this hotel. Our pool staff Ricardo and Ismael and Jesus were the fantastic. Always filling our glasses and the drinks at the swim up Elegance bar were made with premium alcohol and the Elegance club pool had the best vibes! They are really friendly and look after us all day long. A little bit of Spanish goes a long way! The restaurants were great, especially Sea and See and the Steakhouse. The animation team were great, especially Gigi and Nutella. We did not want to come back home!!! Muchas gracias a todos por hacernos unas vacaciones inolvidables! We would love to come back!

Fenny, Adelio, and Francisca at the Cotorra Bar are truly the vibe and the heart and soul of the resort! Meeting them was such a pleasure, and their energy, warmth, and incredible hospitality made my trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure every moment was special, from their amazing service to the genuine joy they brought to the atmosphere. Their dedication and passion for what they do truly shine through, and it’s no surprise they are such a beloved part of the resort experience.
