Our butler, Erickson, was great - we didn't use him to book any restaurants/spa treatments, but he would find us on the beach every day and ask if there was anything we needed. He was a big help in getting us moved to a different room on the day we arrived, as the entire wing we were in lost cold water. The beach was nice - the adults-only section is a bit cramped, as though it was an afterthought. We didn't spend time by the pool, so can't comment on that. Food is mass catering, so nothing special. The desserts are all style and no substance. The best meal of the day is breakfast. Lunches are ok. Your best options at dinner are to go to the freshly cooked pasta station and the freshly cooked meat/fish station. Ice cream is the better dessert option. Drinks are good. Being in the adults-only section, we could use the club to stock up on bottled water. Overall a 4-star stay.

It's was amazing vacation with friends and family, and it's was good service, food was nice, fresh, delicious, staff was nice and friendly, our butler Santiyago was very friendly and majestic men. One big problem in resort is beach CABANAS we think management of resort have change the policy. It's impossible to get Cabana if you come to the beach even 6am , all cabanas is occupied but no people. Management should put 1 hour policy, if person not by cabana more than 1 hour next person take over.

Go see Layder! He'll make your trip!
This review goes out to the friendliest and best people I met during my trip! They were amazing! Layder was the BEST, along with Victor Salomé Adelio Juan. Pros- beautiful resort, beautiful beaches and nice people. Cons- DO NOT BRING TODDLERS. Cribs fell apart FOUR times and my son was really injured. They told me 3 times to go to my room and wait for management and no one ever came.

Beautiful property but some disappointing issues.
Overall, we enjoyed Majestic Elegance. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Standard Dominican daily buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sea & Sea restaurant near the beach also had breakfast and lunch buffet which was a great spot for morning coffee. Restaurants offered good variety and friendly staff. A couple negatives include lack of available seating at the beach and around the Elegance Club pools. When people reserved a bally bed, they also locked up the two pool chairs in front of it so seating for those that didn’t go out at sunrise to reserve space were SOL. Chairs need to be separated from the bed and there needs to be more of them. Maybe, put a time limit on reserved chairs so they’re not hogged sunrise to sunset whether there is anyone there or not. Very disappointing. The ”butler” that came with Club Elegance was very personable but of no value. We tipped $20 up front and after his property tour, never saw him. Not sure if the app didn’t work or he just chose to not respond to questions. Rooms are also in need of maintenance. Several drawers were broken and unusable. Would we return? Maybe. But paying the upcharge for Club Elegance was of little value.

Majestic Elegance The property is Amazing. Clean from tip to bottom. There was not 1 piece of trash was anywhere. The workers were in the pools before sun up scrubbing, no cups were left lying around, beaches were clean. Our room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels, pillows fluffed, mini bar restocked EVERY DAY! We had the 1 bedroom suite swim up room in the CLUB LEVEL AREA. Room # 3110. Our butler was Osvaldy. From start to finish he made sure we were taken care of. So kind, so patient, so helpful, was spot on with all of our needs. It was my 50th Birthday & he was sure to decorate the room exactly as my husband asked. My husband ate something that didn’t agree with his stomach. He had the bartender make him a concoction that DID THE JOB! He felt better instantly, Thank you. The pool outside of our room was so MAJESTICAL. It was peaceful, quaint & the swim up bar was simply fun. Pools are endless! Although we had our own private pool area with Club Level, we could enjoy poos around the property if we wanted a change of scenery. Restaurants; No reservations needed accept for French & Japanese. The steak house was by far our favorite. Definitely go for the Ribeye. While you wait, visit the bar and get a good Ole Fashion! So cool how they make it. Food portions & quality was perfect. The buffets and options were more then enough everyday. See and Sea…No Bueno. Breakfast & Lunch, it’s worth the walk to the Buffet. They never seemed to have food. We didn’t bother for dinner because of our impression for the breakfast & lunch options. (We met some couples who had been here previous years & they said that See and Sea had fallen off). CESAR at the buffet,,,A+! Sit in his section! Beach area for the VIP CLUB next to the water sports area is crowded. Walk down the beach to the private beach area. It’s more spacious. You can use the VIP pool & bar there as well. Entertainment: DISCO SHOW…10 10 10! Wow! Best show! Don’t miss it! Each night they put on some excellent shows followed by more entertainment in the lobby or at the Tiki bar, or the Club, or the Sports bar or the casino. You won’t be bored! Unless you want peace & quiet, it’s easy to find. Drinks; Made RIGHT! CLUB LEVEL does have top shelf…so does the theatre bar. “Ask for Tito’s or Heineken” They have it. Your Welcome. Beer shots are a real thing. Just get them made with 43! CON* Smokers* cigars & cigarettes are smelly in some of the common areas & that was disappointing to my husband and I. We don’t like the smell and would expect less in such a beautiful hotel but again, it was so clean you wouldn’t know it other then the smell! *We didn’t see an ash tray* but we smelled it occasionally. Overall Experience 10 out of 10! We already booked our return vacation!
