  Marvelous Majestic Mirage a must

  We love the Majestic resorts in Punta Cana. Our last stay In October at Mirage once again exceeded all of our expectations. That is why we will be heading back May 2025 to visit with our Majestic family. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. The best staff my wife and I have ever met. Big shout out to Elena, Yelitza and Yeimi. All three of you are amazing. We were fortunate to get our great butler Jefry for half the week and a fantastic replacement for rest of our stay named Leonardo. Both good guys, always in touch with us when needed. Our room was the best. A swim out suite which I highly recommend. The maids kept the room spotless. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. Don't forget to try the room service. It was quick and the food excellent. We have always had great food and dining experiences at Majestic. We can not say enough wonderful things about the man in charge. Raul Mendez. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend time with us. Morning buffet by the beach can't be beat. Thank you Jency for the big smiles and friendly service keeping our coffee cups filled. We also enjoyed the a la carte breakfast served in the Italian restaurant and the greetings each time from Noemi. We enjoyed all the a la carte restaurants for dinner. But our personal faves were the Steak house and Italian. The Teppanyaki cooking show is also a must. The pools and beach are always a highlight. No complaints. Every time we get to the end of our vacation we basically start planning for the next time we can get back and visit our friends. Many thanks again to Amil and Juan Roncero for also welcoming us into the family at Majestic. Looking forward to seeing you all in May 2025.

  Amazing..Incredible time 2 years in a row!!1

  We selected this resort because of the exceptional vacation we had last year here. Once again it was an amazing,,incredible..and terrific week here during spring break. Leonardo, our Butler was fantastic. He hunted us down each and every day and was on top of everything!! We had another amazing butler last year, Caesar, and were surprised when he came up to us and said he remembered us from last year! Never have I seen a more dedicated staff . The friendly and attentive bar staff and wait staff could not have been more friendly. The Michael Jackson show is not to be missed!!! We went to the casino next door one night and a golf cart was awaiting us outside to drive us back!! We had 3 rooms all next to each other and they are spacious and quiet. Have to re-book this again for next year as it is a guaranteed perfect relaxing time!!

  Nothing is as advertised

  We prearranged the transfer from the airport through the hotel. It was a real challenge to let them know our arrival and departure info. I had to figure it out and write a 10 step guide for the other four rooms. Then when we got to the Dominican, we had to wait about an hour to board the shuttle. They stopped at RIU, and Bahia before Majestic. We were on the shuttle for over an hour. It took over an hour and a half to check in. Not one of our five rooms were as expected/requested/reserved. My friend and I were offered a “free intimate upgrade” to a sky suite, which we don’t want. We’re friends, not a couple. We had to take a king bed room with a roll-away for the first night. And fought for over 1/2 an hour about getting a two-bed room which is what we asked for back in September. My brother reserved a swim up room but ended up facing the “canal/alley” behind the building, facing the Elegance. No one would pay for this room, with the four foot wide pool. The hot tubs in all the sky suites did not plug, so filling them was pointless. Plus who wants a scorcher rooftop during the day or in the rain, which happens nearly every day. And it’s not heated so no one wants to be in there at night. At our first dinner the hostess says “we don’t take reservations”. Well, here’s the email from the hotel where they asked us what we would like to do each day, since we were a party of 12. We ended up sending that to our butler who made those arrangements for us daily. They brought us a wine list of selections not included in our all-inclusive. My dad had to go get his own drinks from the bar because the drink server was MIA most of the night. My friend had to ask four different people for a glass of wine (from the included list) before he got one. Went to Draft sports bar each night. There’s no bathroom in there. You have to B&E at the steakhouse and wade through the overflowing toilet water to get a bathroom. On the third day, my friends fell on a wet floor in the buffet, near the bathroom and broke his humorous. The hotel charged him $315 to wheel him to the medical office, give him a sling and call us a taxi to take us to the hospital. The Kabuki restaurant (hibachi) was lousy. The rice was under cooked and then burned. The following night our butler (Junior, the only savior of the whole trip) tried to do something nice for us by having the steakhouse seat us together and serve us all the apps family style. I really enjoyed that. But everything he does is sabotaged by someone else. They never brought the kids food, even after my mother reminded them. I guess I’m less picky about food than the rest of the group. I liked what I had at Seaside (even though the lobster bisque was scorched), Kabuki sushi was good (but the tiny bowl of ramen was too salty to eat). The service was terrible everywhere except the steakhouse the night after the no kids food fiasco, because our butler (Junior) stayed late and arranged a specific server to wait on us. We received cruise quality main dining room. The drinks were brought automatically based on how we ordered the previous night and were automatically refilled without asking. I don’t think Elizabeth was our main server but thanks to her we had one excellent experience. Watched the Rock, Disco and Michael Jackson shows in the theater. I swear it’s like they were trying to evade copyright. They changed enough of the music and lyrics (by either skipping or not pronouncing the words) to the point where we often couldn’t figure out the song. Prepare yourself. The service is total junk, the people are very nice, but much of the service staff don’t understand English.

  Majestic Mirage Review

  We stayed at the Majestic Mirage in April of 2025. Adults only side. Our room was kept clean daily. The resort has a variety of good food & drink options. Overall the resort is clean and well kept. The resort has daily evening entertainment. The beach has ample sun/shade beds and is overall clean and well kept.

  Great stay

  We had an incredible stay at The Majestic Mirage, and one of the main reasons was our amazing butler, Lisandro Sanchez. From the moment we arrived, Lisandro made us feel welcome and taken care of. He was always attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Whether it was arranging reservations, surprising us with little touches, or just checking in to see how we were doing, he made our vacation feel extra special. Thank you, Lisandro, for your outstanding service – you truly made our stay unforgettable!
