  Amazing fun and relaxation, all thanks to the incredible staff!!!

  In terms of relaxation with a healthy dose of fun, this was one of my most enjoyable trips ever. Beautiful beach and ocean water, amazing pools, infinite variety and quantity of good food and of course, any tropical drink you can imagine in unlimited quantities. But what made the Majestic Mirage truly special was the staff. I have NEVER been to a place — anywhere — with so many fun and friendly people. The wonderful attitude of the hard-working staff was something to behold. Disney could even learn some things here. From hilarious and truly professional bartenders like Daysi and Charly to always laughing beach staff like Yonathan, you just run into person after person who literally makes your day. I can't say enough good things about the people who work here. They made this experience unique. And awesome. Some thoughts and tips… Food Considering the all-inclusive model, the food was solid and good. If I’ve seen a wider variety of food at a breakfast buffet than the daily breakfast buffet at the Seaside restaurant, I can’t remember where. Hundreds of options from hot omelettes, pancakes, waffles, local Dominican fare, etc to crepe bar to charcuterie, cold stuff, and way too much to mention here. That was a treat and a daily stop for us. Like everything else, the restaurants were FUN! I haven’t laughed so hard as when at the Japanese restaurant in years, and the food was great. Goes without saying, the service at all the restaurants was good and, again, fun. I’d say the food was, across the board, better than cruises and certainly with more variety. Facilities The public facilities, pools, beaches, etc, were outstanding. Covered beds, lounges, etc, were freely available everywhere. No extra charge (of course), and you didn’t have to fight for them. Rooms are huge with nice balconies and well done. If you are choosy about things like pillow types, just ask your butler - they’ll get you whatever you need and help with anything else, like reservations at restaurants and room supplies. It’s humid there (it’s an island, remember?), so the room AC struggles to keep up (the rooms are cool, but you feel the damp.) We brought DampRid in our checked baggage, but had to shift them to carry on due to cutting our checked bag weight at the airport. That caused an emergency conference / international security incident with TSA (yes, factory sealed and labeled DampRid), so if you bring it, make sure it stays in the checked bag. I wouldn’t mess with it next time, and it didn’t seem to make much difference, as the rooms are so large. That’s a lot for tiny containers of DampRid to dry out. Water The hotel filters all the restaurant and bar water (and ice), so if your system is accustomed to US water, you should be fine. No one in our multi-room party of 9 had any issues whatsoever. We used bottled water for brushing our teeth and didn’t drink tap water from the rooms. To be clear, we drank gallons of “tap” water at all the restaurants - no need to stick to bottled water when dining. Your butler can make sure you have an infinite supply of bottled water in your room (along with juices, sodas, alcohol, etc) Language Spanish speaking, of course (I am writing this from a US visitor perspective), but many / most of the staff also knows enough English for us to understand each other. As a visitor, I expect it’s up to me to know enough of the local language to get by, so the amount of English was a nice bonus. The best part was the staff (remember the fun and friendly aspect) always seemed happy to help me learn some Spanish while I was there. Unlike some places (I’m looking at you, France), they seemed to really appreciate efforts to learn some Spanish and were always eager to help teach. That was a lot of fun. Tipping We brought a few hundred dollars for the week in ones and fives, and that was super handy. You’ll be well taken care of no matter what, but staff always really appreciated putting some meat behind a verbal “thank you.” Leave a tip on your tables after meals, at the bars, for housekeeping, etc, and you’ll be treated very, very well. A win-win for sure. Overall Recommendations Like I’ve said multiple times, the Mirage was FUN and FRIENDLY. Go with a laid-back attitude, and you will love it. If you tend to get all worked up over a forgotten drink order or some minor service issue, you’ll be missing out. Shift gears into Island time when you walk through the door, don’t sweat details, and just relax. The awesome staff will take wonderful care of you. There is a 100% chance we will be going back here. I just got back last night and can’t wait to schedule another visit.

  Little Piece of Paradise outside of Canada, Superb Service by Butler Carlos Rosario

  My husband and I visited this fabulous resort, that was most definitely 10/10. We upgraded to the Club member package and met the greatest very professional Butler Rosario, he made our stay perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed a week at this resort, people, weather, room, food and entertainment were all great. Restaurants were very good, had our best steak ever, at the Steakhouse. All staff were so very polite, always willing to assist. Rosario was special gem of a guy, admired how he took his job very seriously and was so helpful looking after "his family" putting a smile on our faces and he could always find us each and every day wherever we were. Loved the sailing and kayaking and ocean. Pictures do not do it justice, only a memory. The resort andbeach were always spotless, room was always clean and fresh everyday. Wonderful people and a lot of staff that work at this resort, they all work so very hard to make your stay pleasant. We miss you Rosario, remember "see you Next Week always". D&P

  Magestic Mirage 2025 Stay

  Had an incredible week at Magestic Mirage! Our butler, Osvaldo, took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The beach and pool atmosphere truly set this place apart from any other resort I’ve visited. Huge thanks to bartender Charly for keeping my family and I happy and entertained! He’s the very best!!! Another big thanks to the animation team for providing games each day on the beach. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious, highly recommend visting the Steakhouse and Hibachi restaurants. You’ll be extra lucky if you get to have Freddy as your server! Will most definitely be planning a trip back here! Thanks to all the staff at Mirage for a fantastic vacation!

  Amazing stay and service

  This week was an amazing week for our family. Osvaldo, our butler, took amazing care of us and Charly, the bartender, kept us happy and entertained throughout the week. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this trip to all my friends. Definitely a clean and friendly environment.

  Wonderful trip- second visit

  We enjoyed our second return trip to Punta Cana at The Majestic Mirage. We stayed again on the adults only side and enjoyed a great trip. The pool concierge services and the swim up bar service is amazing.Charley is our favorite bar tender. We also enjoyed the beach everyday and there is an animation team to offer games each day. Our daughters 22-18 enjoyed their first visit!! My only suggestion is to decline the upgrade to rooftop rooms if they provide that option at checkin. We were upgraded last year and the room on the rooftop is half the size without a separate sleeping/sitting area. Accommodations this year were much better and more spacious.
