May 12, 2025One of the best (if not the best one).
We love Dominican Republic; we love Punta Cana. It was our 10th stay in DR since pandemia. We also stayed in Antigua, Aruba, Costa Rica, Jamaica – seasoned A(ll) I(nclusive) users 😊. Stayed at Majestic Mirage (MM) 12 days in April. The resort is beautiful and very well kept. The rooms are full suites – with 2 restrooms and 2 sinks (even 3 – one was double), which was very convenient for our family of 3. The rooms may be a bit outdated (no USB outlets – keep in mind!), but very cozy and practical. The daily housekeeping is doing a great job. A very pleasant feature – nobody is selling you anything. I don’t mean the beach vendors; I mean the clubs and upgrades. Very relaxing. The reception is practically invisible. On arrival somebody collected our passports and did the check-in, while we were seating in comfortable armchairs next to the bar, snack bar and coffee machine. Had never had this before. We stayed in the A(dults) O(nly) section. There are 2 AO parts of the beach: from both sides of the family part. The part to the left is bigger, to the right much smaller and quieter. You decide which to pick, there are enough sunbeds from both sides. Each AO beach section has each own bar and cafeteria. Maybe the hotel was not filled 100%, but there were no lines in the bars during the day – one more thing I had never seen before. The cafeterias are great: water, soda, beer in the fridge, some wine and liquor, coffee machine, salads, snacks, sandwiches, bakery – you can’t be hungry. The food: we ate at the Marketplace (main buffet) most of the time. Also visited the other 4 restaurants: French and Japanese (require reservation – think ahead), Italian and steakhouse. The food is of good quality and the variety is big. The freshly squeezed juices and smoothies are available in the buffet all day, not only for breakfast, like on other resorts. Don’t forget to visit the coffee shop – big variety of different hot and cold drinks, very tasty bakery, sandwiches, great service. The AC – very important. There are 2 of them – one in each room. Not only they’d been strong and quiet, but also manageable, which doesn’t happen too often – you can really control the temperature in each room. Perfect! And the last, but not least: the staff. In 3 words: helpful, polite, respectful. All employees, including guards and landscape workers, always said Hola with a smile. Our butler, Elvis, checked on us daily, finding us on the beach or in the restaurant, helping with the restaurant reservations and any needs. Thank you, Elvis! The only problem we had - couple of very windy days. This has nothing to do with the resort. MM did it best to clean up the beach from the seaweed, brought probably by this wind. In case of seaweed – walk couple of minutes to the left or to the right, there is always a spot with clean, warm water. All in all – great vacations! Strongly recommend.

Our honeymoon was absolutely incredible thanks to the staff at the Majestic Mirage! The entertainment staff was exquisit
OMAR and Daysi were absolutely fantastic at the pool bar! Omar never failed to make the drinks consistent and delicious. Juan Bernardo was so attentive to our every need and incredibly kind. The entire staff including our butler Alejandro made sure everything was taken care of for us and made for an excellent and stress free honeymoon!

Nice Fitness Room!
Very clean, very organized, and the staff is very helpful! There are various machines and free weights to choose from. As someone who is not a regular in the gym, I felt included and welcome! What a lovely experience for this woman in her 50s. I would highly recommend you checking it out!!!!

Excellent experience at Majestic Mirage
Majestic mirage is a wonderful resort and honestly the staff were the reason we had such a great time! To begin, Bolivar, our butler did an outstanding job every day. He made sure he spoke with us every day ensuring we always had what we needed in our room and helped us with excursions. He even set up a birthday suprise for me in my room! 5 star service. Then, Yuqueisy, Yidalvis and Johnathan at the piano bar were the best bartenders we ever had. So sweet, kind and helpful. They never failed to give us a fun night! They also surprised me with a cake on my birthday. Also 5 star service for all of them! There was also great service from bartenders Cesar, Angel, Joel, Yeral and Anneurys. These men always made us laugh and made super yummy drinks. I will always remember them! I would also like to say a special thanks to Lenet, a pool concierge. I loved his outgoing personality. He always had something fun to say whenever my boyfriend and I say him! Great guy 5 stars! Also, Manuel did a great job at keeping my family and I entertained by the beach and pool. Super fun and sweet guy! Overall the food was amazing too. All the restaurants were to die for!

This is the loudest resort I have ever stayed at, and it certainly does not provide a five-star experience. If you're looking to party, you might find it satisfactory. However, if you prefer peace and quiet, this is not the right place for you. The rooms, pool, and daybeds all show significant signs of wear and tear. In our room, the safe was broken, as well as the sliding glass door and the ceiling fan. Many guests brought boomboxes to play their own loud music, so you are constantly subjected to that additional noise. Moreover, if you are sensitive to cigarette or marijuana smoke, you may find this environment uncomfortable. On a positive note, all of the staff members were extremely kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, this trip was for our anniversary.
