  Absolutely Amazing

  Manchebo provided the absolute greatest experience my wife and I could have asked for. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The resort itself it so peaceful, one of if not our best ever hotel stay. Would absolutely stay there again ! Big shout out to Andrew who went above and beyond for us on numerous occasions. We Love Manchebo !

  Beautiful Beach but Disappointing All-Inclusive Experience

  I want to start by acknowledging that everyone has different expectations when it comes to a perfect vacation. This review reflects our personal experience and what we consider important when choosing a resort. Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa left us with mixed feelings. While the beach, spa, and dinners were truly exceptional, several aspects of the all-inclusive package, service, and overall amenities fell short of our expectations, especially considering the price. Beach - 10/10 The beach is undoubtedly the highlight of this resort, and all the glowing reviews about its beauty are absolutely justified. The sand is incredibly soft and white, the water is crystal-clear turquoise, and swimming conditions were excellent throughout our stay. Unlike some beaches in Mexico or the Dominican Republic, we experienced no seaweed or significant waves. Although Aruba is known for its strong winds, they actually made the heat much more comfortable without making swimming unpleasant. The beach is also spacious and relatively quiet, with plenty of room between loungers. However, one issue bothered us. Since all beaches in Aruba are public, non-hotel guests can access the shoreline, which is completely understandable. What surprised us was the inconsistent enforcement of hotel rules. Throughout the day, security would ask non-guests to leave the resort’s designated lounging areas. Yet toward the evening, staff occasionally allowed large groups of non-guests to use hotel umbrellas and loungers simply because fewer guests were around (photo attached). In my opinion, this is unacceptable regardless of how empty the beach is. Hotel guests pay for these amenities and leave their belongings there expecting a certain level of security. Rules should be consistently enforced throughout the day. That being said, the beach itself is absolutely stunning and deserves a perfect score. All-Inclusive Experience — The Biggest Disappointment We purchased the all-inclusive package for approximately $400 USD extra per day, expecting convenience, flexibility, and the freedom to enjoy meals without constantly worrying about additional charges. Unfortunately, the experience was quite different. Manchebo does not offer any buffet-style dining. All meals are served à la carte, which we actually appreciate as a concept. However, even with the all-inclusive package, the number of dishes you can order is surprisingly restricted. I’ve attached the detailed all-inclusive policy, as I strongly recommend reviewing it before booking. For example, some restaurants have a $65-per-person spending limit, with anything above that charged separately. What made this even more frustrating was the inconsistency among staff. Different servers gave us different explanations about what was included. Something one server allowed would be considered an extra charge by another. To me, the main appeal of an all-inclusive vacation is knowing that you’ve already paid for your meals and can simply relax. Instead, we frequently found ourselves checking prices, counting dishes, and clarifying restrictions. Breakfast/Lunch — 5/10 Lunch and breakfast had similar issues. With essentially one restaurant and a limited menu, the choices became repetitive fairly quickly. We particularly missed having a snack bar offering fresh fruit, light salads, small bites, and a wider selection of desserts throughout the day. For a beachfront resort, especially one offering an expensive all-inclusive package, having convenient options for a quick snack between meals would make a significant difference. Dinner — 8/10 Dinner, on the other hand, was excellent! We absolutely loved Omakase Sushi Bar. The fish was incredibly fresh, the sushi was delicious, and the cocktails and creative desserts were fantastic. The steakhouse was another highlight, with excellent food and a lovely dining experience. However, variety became an issue after three or four nights. Some restaurants operate only on certain days, and we personally didn’t enjoy Ike’s as much as the other options. While Aruba has plenty of great restaurants outside the resort, most of the ones we were interested in required transportation. Having already paid for all-inclusive, we didn’t particularly want to spend additional money and time dining elsewhere. Overall, the quality of our favorite dinners was outstanding, but the resort’s dining selection felt somewhat limited for a week-long stay. Rooms — 7/10 The rooms were modern, comfortable, and generally very clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which is especially important in Aruba’s climate. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent, with certain days being noticeably better than others, but overall we had no major complaints about the accommodation. Also, the outlets for charging did not work on one bedside. Wi-Fi — 2/10 One of the most surprising disappointments was the internet connection. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unreliable, to the point where even sending basic messages or loading a webpage could take several minutes. I completely understand that many people come to Aruba to disconnect, but that should be a personal choice rather than a necessity caused by poor connectivity. For a resort at this price point, reliable internet should be a basic expectation. Service — 7/10 Overall, the staff were pleasant, and we had several positive interactions. However, good service is not just about friendliness. It’s also about consistency, clear communication, and attention to detail. The conflicting explanations of all-inclusive restrictions and inconsistent enforcement of beach policies were our main concerns.For a resort in this price category, I would expect clearer standards and a more seamless guest experience. Spa — 10/10 The spa was absolutely incredible! We booked massages twice during our stay, and both experiences were exceptional. The atmosphere was peaceful, the therapists were highly skilled, and the overall experience was genuinely relaxing. Without hesitation, 10/10 and one of the highlights of our vacation. Is Manchebo Worth It? Manchebo has some truly outstanding qualities, particularly its beautiful beach, excellent spa, and high-quality dinner options. I would recommend it to couples and travelers who prioritize a peaceful atmosphere, relaxation, and spending most of their time by the ocean. However, I would be more hesitant to recommend its all-inclusive package. At approximately $400 USD extra per day, we expected greater dining flexibility, more variety, and a smoother overall experience. The issue isn’t necessarily that the resort has restrictions. Every property is entitled to its own policies. The problem is whether those restrictions are clearly communicated and whether the experience justifies the price. Ultimately, we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, and there were certainly memorable moments. However, the combination of limited all-inclusive dining, unreliable Wi-Fi, and inconsistent service prevented the experience from fully meeting our expectations. Not a bad resort by any means, but one where the overall value didn’t quite match the price we paid.

  Best hotel!

  This was our first time in Aruba and at Manchebo, but it certainly won't be our last! We spent 20 nights at this fantastic hotel, but unfortunately, the days went by far too quickly. The hotel is in a wonderful location, right on an amazing beach. Since we were looking for a peaceful holiday focused on sunshine, swimming, and relaxation, it was absolutely perfect for us. The size of the hotel meant that it never felt busy or overcrowded, and there were always sun loungers available on the beach. The beach was clean, and the water was amazing. There was no litter anywhere, no beach vendors approaching you, and no hassle — just people enjoying life in the sunshine and the beautiful ocean. It was nice to see that the beach is official and that everyone could enjoy the fantastic beach even though they were locals and not residents at any of the hotels. We also liked the concept of just rising your red flag at the sun bed and the segway-man came serving ice-cold pinã coladas and quesadillas. We also got to know the staff, and it was always such a pleasure to arrive for breakfast with our cappuccino ready and waiting. The wonderful atmosphere among the staff created such a positive and welcoming environment that naturally rubbed off on the guests. There was always a smile and a kind word. The staff played a huge part in making our overall experience so wonderful. The food was good at all the restaurants, and the entertainment was enjoyable and varied. But of course after three weeks we've been through the most of the menu's and the entertainment :). The rooms were lovely, and the housekeeping was excellent. Renting a car directly at the hotel was also very easy and hassle-free. However, if you're looking for parties and nightlife, this might not be the right place for you. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping was great. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, and the gardens reflected so much care and love, with lots of lovely little details. Everything felt so welcoming and peaceful. Brandon at the front desk — we love you! ❤️ All the other staff members were absolutely lovely too; we just can't remember everyone's names! At Manchebo, we felt right at home, and we will definitely be back. We can't wait to see you all again in the near future! ❤️

  Trip of a lifetime

  My best friend and I celebrated our 50th birthdays at this resort. We sprung for the all-inclusive dining feature and I’m thankful that we did. I am afraid that this beautiful resort and beach have ruined me for any future vacations. Nothing will ever top the customer service, the location to one of the world’s best beaches, the comfortable room and beds and having beach side service under our private little tiki huts. I’m obsessed with this resort’s live beach cam. The water is even more beautiful than you could imagine. I could’ve taken a nap while floating on my back in the calm, refreshing ocean. I have to give props to housekeeping. Daily housekeeping meant that everyday felt like we were checking in to a relaxing home away from home. The live music every night was just the chef’s kiss on a relaxing, perfect vacation. Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa is the best place I’ve ever been blessed to stay at and I highly recommend it to you.

  So peaceful, just wonderful

  Didn’t stay at this hotel but we were able to do sunset yoga with Maria for $20 and it was amazing. Such a calming atmosphere and the stretching and the various yoga poses as the sunset was so peaceful.
