My experience
For our son's birthday we visited Corendon Mangrove. The staff, especially Georgiane and Melory, were very friendly and attentive. The amenities were ideal for a perfect day of celebration.

Dec 01, 2025Paid price didn't provide the expected value
Generally hotel looked good in photos, had good description of amenities and services. Not a long drive from airport (private transfer approx 20-30min), on the opposite side of island from airport. Just some 15-20min walk from Willemstad. But just couple minutes from hotel there's also 3 level free parking. Right next is also Corendon's Riff hotel, who's guests share open main buffet with Mangrove hotel's guests, as well there's no clear separation between hotels territories. The atmosphere - overall good, staff satisfaction varied with some being helpful and nice (giving directions or suggestions), while others (especially in open buffet area) were dissatisfied and ill mannered. Still managed to rest and enjoy the weather and vacation. Fresh drinkable water available throughout hotel's territory for refill. Room - deluxe room with side sea view. Inside was good, comfortable bed and nice shower, really nice smelling shower gel and water made the skin soft. The downside - couldn't properly control the air conditioning (either off, or only 22-26 degrees C). The view from balcony was far from expected - no sea, but proper view of hotel's construction storage place and water park. Food - very happy with choices for fresh vegetables, fruits, also desserts and pastries. Was surprised about the lack of seafood (some cold cuts and cooked fish in some days but no proper choices of seafood as you'd expect for a Carribbean island), and even more surprised about the poor quality and poor choice of meat. If something was tasteful (like ribs), it went away in 10min and then took 30-40min to have it refilled by hotel staff. Chicken mostly dry, beef fillets (BBQ) - overcooked and hard. Every day 90% the same food with little variety. They say that they use local farmers for deliveries and give them back unused food, so at least sustainability is thought of. Coffee really tasteful and aromatic, but only if coffee machines working. As an option booked Cor and Don's BBQ restaurant for dinner on 3rd day of the stay, expecting to try some soup, brisket and other things from a la carte menu. When got there at assigned time, we were advised that menu not available, instead will get what they give to all of guests that evening - a small plate of salad (chopped cabbage with corn) and plate of mixed BBQ. Ok, we wanted to still try. Oh, the disappointment... We each got 1 half of oven backed potato, 1 asparagus, BBQ chicken fillets pieces (dry), BBQ beef strips (with black edges and overcooked) and 2 ribs (couldn't get meat off the bone). It was even worse than in the open buffet. And for dessert - we were told to go to main buffet once it opens. This experience made us cancel the other hotel restaurant booking and the remaining dinners plan for outside of the hotel. Pool area and beach area - not too crowded at the end of November, can always find a spot and swim nicely. Really enjoyed the sea water, even the sudden rain showers didn't darken the mood. Best entertainment were pelicans catching fish. If want to chill under natural gazebo - need to book in advance and pay extra. Have to mention Hookah lounge on the beach - really good service, tasty hookah, serene setup under the night sky, and he ( the hookah master) even brought us delicious cocktails. We enjoyed it so much, that we came back couple days later again. Hotel should advertise this option more to hotel guests!

The staff at Mangrove
I recently stayed here for my extenstion day in Curacao 11/21/25-11/22/25 coming from the Rif. I didnt get to meet much staff but shoutouts to Juvenile for assisting my cousin and I to our rooms with some great conversations and amazing aroma from his cologne. Also shoutouts to the chicken shawarma guy at the outdoor dining near the beach. I didnt get his name but we see eachother a few times for lumch and discussed his trips to NY inwhich he enjoyed & the chicken shawarma was amazing. Shout outs to the pool bar staffff all of them were amazing and made great drinks. Im sure if i stayed longer i wouldve met way more staff but greatful for everyone i did have the chance to meet and vibe with.

Great curadise
I stayed in this property great service from the check in process at front desk Xanthia and injerienne helped me a lot and explained the amenities of the hotel to me with lots of patience. During the afternoon every question I had Georgiane, Sheena and melory answered all my enquirers. The front office supervisor Edwin helped me amazingly when I had some issues. Loving the hotel
