Oct 11, 2026Good for families with small children
Things I appreciated: hotel literally is beach from which makes traveling with a little one easy. The children’s pool is also completely roofed so I could keep out little one in the shade all day. Another nice plus is that you can reserve a small “movie theater “ to watch a film in- it’s basically a small dark room with a projector but my 6 year old had a blast. We only had breakfast at the hotel but Extra thanks for having gluten free bread ready upon request and it actually tasted very good. Special thanks to Manuel (chima) and Doney for helping us out to get the perfect room for our last night when we chose to stay and extra night. Prices at the bar were over the top - >$20 for a margarita in Costa Rica is insane

Amazing vacation in Costa Rica
Staff is very professional, friendly and very welcoming. Grounds and room was very clean. The atmosphere was safe, very helpful employes. It’s located close to the marina and shops. We also booked with Major Tours during our stay. Minor Gonzalez was very accommodating with our needs, which was amazing! He was very professional, provided information during our tour. He went above and beyond beyond . Provided refreshments and made sure we were comfortable and understood everything that was happening. If you are ever in Margaritaville will recommend booking any tour with Minor Gonzales, where you can find him by the beach area.

I lead a group trip for 26 club members to 3 areas in Costa Rica and we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms and common areas were all clean. We did the all inclusive option which was a great value. All of the staff were friendly and worked hard to make everyone happy. There was not as much activity at the pool area as most all inclusive resorts but what they did was fun. The food options were great and for breakfast you could either have the buffet or order off the menu and everything was very good. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Wonderful vacation at Margaritaville
My teenager and I had the best time here. The location is perfect, it is right on the beach. The hotel is clean and the grounds are beautiful. It is not too large. Our room was very clean and quiet. The staff at Margaritaville are all helpful and extremely kind. Scott, the manager, is constantly walking around and checking on guests. The front desk staff were all so nice. Fernando at the spa was so nice, he helped me practice my Spanish. Priscilla gives wonderful massages. We will return for sure.
