    Restaurant review

    Average food, average prices and below average service. Can make way better food on my boat and a fraction of the price and way friendlier service. Pizza was disappointing and had to wait ages. Marine services and crew are great though!

    The most friendly welcome

    We are just back from another stay in Shelter Bay Marina Hotel and we want to say THANK YOU to the friendly manager and staff of this hotel and restaurant. You really make the difference and you make your hotel a place that feels home and not just another big chain standard experience!! We love the special secluded situation with only a few rooms first floor overlooking the marina. Some commentators describe these rooms as to be in need of a little bit of fresh paint. Yes, but then they are clean, well equipped with amenities and most of all with silent air conditioners. With an old fashioned club room on the first floor and a highly recommendable restaurant just downstairs first row to the beautiful scenery of the yachts in the marina you have Fort San Lorenzo and Colon both just 10 minutes away with the advantage of a little quiet paradise with a pool. Definitely kids friendly. Thank you We come again Michaela, Klaus and son

    Watch Out for the Bill

    We are staying at the Shelter Bay Marina and had to ask the restaurant to adjust the bills twice because of overcharges for items that we did not order. The orders are not what indicates on the menu, for example, it says $12 for 8 spring rolls but the first time we ordered there were only 4 and second time we got 5. The Thursday night special is all you can eat ribs and yet we were told only 2 servings per person. We are staying at the Marina for a month, however after a week we refuse to spend our money at the restaurant again because of its dishonesty.

    Super clean rooms and restaurant.

    The restaurant by the Marina. Nice Place to sit and eat. The staff was great and All spoke English. I have eaten there 5 or 6 times since 2015 and it keeps getting better every time. Sonia ( staff member) along with several others were very nice. Eddie the Marina Staff member was also very helpful and cordial.

    Beautiful location

    We stayed here to explore Fort Sherman and nearby beaches. The marina is beautiful. Most of the people staying there are in boats at the marina. The road to drive there is not great so you must take your time to avoid the multiple potholes. The hotel was clean but not immaculately clean. The shower had mildew and a window would not completely close. The pool was great. The restaurant and bar were also great. There is also a small store to purchase needed items.The beaches nearby were absolutely amazing. The only issue was the amount of plastic washed up on the shore. The water was crystal clear and so clean.
