May 08, 2025Great hotel for a week of r and r
Hotel was pretty great. Distinct is much better than the emotiin part. Pillows are great, beds and rooms lovely. Pool is really nice. Staff nice people. Orlanda was nice. The food for western standards is good but certain things are not great. Meat is hit and miss. The eggs are not great. Sausages and coffee was pretty terrible.

We stayed at the resort with 3 children (8, 6.5 and 2.5). Food was one of the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive resort! Everyone was honestly the nicest people ever! Except for the lady that worked at the gift store - wasn’t really the nicest lol. It’s a smaller resort and quiet and super clean. Suites were spacious and kept clean. The drinks were great. - tips: take snacks from the breakfast area as lunch is not served until after 11 near the pool. I took cereal boxes and apples for kids. - the roof top bar was awesome!! Good for kids too. We went there almost every night. Great food, great drinks, great views and great ambiance - kids center was super clean. Our 2 older children loved it! But again no snacks so make sure they eat before heading there - Francisco was soooo awesome. He’s the guy with the fisherman hat near the beach. He will absolutely take care of you! And another Francisco who is near the pool bringing drinks will take care of you no doubt. - you can visit the sister location (emotions). It’s a lot there tho, super crowded. Cannot eat next to the pool so you have to go to the buffet near the pool (food was not good tho) but good to take the kids and have them use the pools. - only con is the water situation. No water bottles, instead there are filtered water stations throughout the resort. Not really a fan, but all good!

Dining with the family
The food here was the best we have had in our stay. It can be hit and miss but this one was very good. Daniel was our server and he treated us very well. Have the fajitas, they were great! We have an all inclusive booking so there is no limit. We ordered off menu for our kids and they accommodated very quickly. Best service so far!

Kevin was heaps good
Kevin is the best. Good was amazing Drinks were cold View was the best. You should definitey visit. Amazing photo opportunity. Roast beef was gold, duck tacos were great, my wife loved the peanut tart, strawberry margs were great. Overall we loved it

Surprisingly excellent!
Great weekend! Food at the beach was the best and so was Victor's service all weekend! Fidel and Saul watched over us daily with the biggest smiles! The grounds and rooms were extremely nice. We never left the resort because we enjoyed ourselves here so much!
