Clients can pre-reserve their dinner reservations for the specialty restaurants prior to their arrival at the hotel by emailing Chantal Ayala at restaurant@marival.com.mx. Reservations must be made 7 days prior to arrival. No reservations will be taken prior to or after. No reservations will be accepted for December 24-January 2 each year. Reservations apply to a maximum of 8 persons. Any group larger than 8 may still contact Ms. Ayala for special arrangements.

Jan 24, 2026Beautiful location. Needs a little work.
We stayed a week at the Marival Emotions. I chose this property because of the location AND the three pickleball courts. The location is fabulous...the beach is beautiful. The pickleball courts were solid with very good courts and permanent nets. We had good and bad experiences at the front desk. When we arrived, the line was VERY long and only one person helping people check in (despite there being three people behind the desk). We went to the "VIP" room, and the gentleman there helped us check in. We learned that you have to reserve spots for dinner at one of their two specialty restaurants. The reservation process was a nightmare. Very difficult to get in there. The Amalfi restaurant had a nice menu, and the food was good. Cristiam was the maitre'd and he was kind and helpful. We also visited the asian-themed restaurant, Silk. The food choices were good, and the sushi rolls were amazing. I would highly recommend both places for the food. Guillermo was our waiter at Amalfi, and was especially kind and efficient. We used the beach club two days, and Marco Antonio was the best! He helped get us our places, brought us towels, made sure the umbrella was blocking the sun...and even moved it as the sun moved. The service, food and drinks were great...so definitely worth it. We went on a timeshare presentation and our sale rep, Jessica, was fabulous! She made sure we got the incentives that we wanted, and then also helped us get reservations for dinner (which is ridiculously difficult). She also arranged a city tour for us, at no additional fee. She went above and beyond and was so friendly and helpful. The facility was nice, although the stairway we took to our room was filthy. The debris we noticed on the first day, was there with more, on the day we left. Not sure if they are short handed or what, but the floors need attention! The room was ok. It smelled musty and a strong moldy smell. We left our patio door open most of our trip, to get fresh air. Each day, after housekeepers left, we found they didn't replace all of our towels or our coffee pods. We literally had to find a housekeeper or call to ask for things like washcloths, hand towels, bath mats. They said they are going to add more buildings to the property where the pickleball courts are now. I hope they move the courts elsewhere, because there were people playing there every day. And honestly, that is one of the only reasons I chose this property in the first place. Probably won't return.

This resort located only 20mins from airport is right on a beautiful beach with so many cabanas to enjoy the view and sunsets. Pools are numerous with lots of seating and the resort in clean and well maintained by hard working staff. Food is delicious and specialty restaurants are full of variety and flavour. So many shows and activities and the sports and entertainment staff are talented and friendly and hard working. Stretch in the beach and spin classes from NRG2GO certified instructors keep you fit and well during vacation . Charly makes sure that everyone has a yoga mat on the beach!

Another Great Experience a Marival
We’ve had a wonderful stay at Marival Emotions Resort, and one of the absolute highlights has been the service—especially from our waiter Marcos. He has been incredibly attentive to us all week, always making sure our drinks were full, our food was perfect, and stopping by just to check in and see if we needed anything. Marcos is always smiling, friendly, and genuinely happy to help, which really made our experience feel extra special. His amazing service truly made us feel spoiled in the Club Members Only section by. It’s this kind of personal attention that turns a great vacation into an unforgettable one. Thank you, Marcos, for going above and beyond! 🌟

Mai Tai restaurant at Marival resort in Nuevo Vallarta
Every day we sit on the beach and Leonel serves us drinks and food from the MaiTai restaurant with a smile on his face. Works hard to make sure everyone is happy and we have what we need Communicates very well in english too!

Mai Tai Beach Club. Best service on the beach.
We had an amazing experience at Mai Tai beach club. Javier and Lionel were excellent all day. Laughs, good times ans inpeccable service. It was my 4 year old daughters birthday and they made it extra special. A highlight of the trip for sure.
