Beautiful Resort and Island. Everyone we met was GREAT

My family and I recently vacationed in St Kitts 9-26/ 10-03 and we stayed at the Marriott St Kitts Beach Club. I had to write a review to express what a wonderful time we all had. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews prior to going. Some people were writing describing horrible things about the resort. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and experiences, but I can honestly say my experience was fantastic from check in to check out.,... the resort is beautiful, clean, and our room was one of the newly renovated ones in building 8 Jessup House. Our view from the second floor was breathtaking of the ocean, and resort. Comments were made about the beach being overtaken by seaweed. We were at the beach several days, and we saw firsthand how the resort had machines and people clearing it. So, it's not like they were not trying to keep it clean. The resort has no control over the current of the water or how much seaweed may come out of the ocean. People were still out there having a great time. The food in the restaurants... everything we ordered was delicious. The bakery is a must go too, and the Pizza was great... always hot, and consistent in taste. Prices are resort prices, so you are going to pay for convenience. The supermarket is walking distance, along with several restaurants which were good. We ventured out a few days to take a tour of the island, which was beautiful, we went shopping and explored a couple of restaurants. If you are looking for an excellent, knowledgeable, and dependable driver reach out to Leo's Taxi Service @ christopherom95@gmail.com, and tell him the two Ryan's said hi, along with their mom. He gives great tours of the island. Bottom line from our experience I could go on and on about the resort and great time.... we had four adults and one 21-month-old in our group, and we all left a piece of our hearts in St Kitts. I will be returning and staying at the Marriott's St Kits Beach Club again if I have my way...... keep in mind everything is imported there so prices are more expensive on things we take for granted. Enjoy your vacation...

Excellent Experience for 9 day Stay w/6 people

We got a 3 BR Villa for 9 nights, Thursday thru Friday. 3 sisters and husbands. Celebrated 3 birthdays this year, turning 60,70 & 80 years! Great base of operations… all beds and facilities were amazing. Rented a car and the entire island can be circled in about an hour. They DO drive on the left, and @ villa, the 3 BR ones are on 3rd floor and… NO elevators or escalators.. only stairs! Other than that, on site we did much cooking ( kitchen is very well equipped) and depending on the day we cooked breakfast, annoyed large verandas, played cards, and chilled out. We cooked @ outside grills for chicken and burgers. 3 huge pools on site, many restaurants ( Italian, Pizza, Bohemia pool bar & grill, and Calypso Cafe.) we saw all the sites and one day went Nevis. The staff were absolutely fantastic, always friendly and helpful. The tour desk was easy to use and helpful. Their busy time is October to March, so it was not crowded in our August visit. We all were extremely pleased with all aspects! They are within walking distance to a nice grocery ( Rams). While you can purchase liquor @ grocery, there is also a great excellent liquor store on Marriott site and prices are very competitive. No need to bring drinks from home! They have ice machines in your private kitchen plus ice on site. All 3 bathrooms had Bidets we had hot water in all baths and it was quickly gotten @ bathroom spigots! It was indeed a 5 star experience and if they had elevators we would have had no issues @ all!

  Such a great resort!

I booked 2 2 bedroom suites for our group of 5. We were put in the Palmetto building, which I would definitely request due to its views and location. Our entire experience with the exception of the sargassum seaweed, which they did remove from the beach, was wonderful! The hospitality of the entire staff was outstanding! Our room had several little things that needed attention and they were promptly fixed. Our units were very spacious, comfortable, and well appointed! We were located near the south pool. We used the excellent infra red grille to cook big delmonico steaks and grouper fillets that we had bought at one of the stores within the resort. While ladies went to the Sky bar while I was grilling to get Coconut Crushes.. one of the bartenders graciously walked them over to our unit! We did the wonderful breakfast buffets several times. We used the gym most days which was loaded with cardio equipment, machines, and weights. We all commented on how great the resort is and how well kept it is.. There was a high level of attention to detail in maintaining the property.. We went to two nearby beaches on the Caribbean side which were great.. Carambola and Reggae Beach. We took the water taxi from Reggae beach to Nevis and enjoyed lunch and Killer Bees at Sunshine’s..Such a great trip!

Great service, ok overall as a resort esp compared to other Marriott resorts worldwide

Book for a week. Resort is quiet - not sure if this is typical or only because it’s their low season in August. There is a beach by the ocean but no one was swimming and only a handful of people sitting on the beach since the water is the Atlantic side so it was rough plus it looks rocky in some parts. We rented a car and drove to different beaches on the Caribbean side. Beaches were 10 to 30 mins depending on where you want to go. Resort has the usual pool, gym, spa, tennis, fire pit, basketball, shuffle board, ping pong etc and this one has a casino for those who are in the mood to gamble. A couple of places to get food and so far food was just ok but definitely overpriced. The staff were all kind and they re-supplied us with amenities such as soap, paper towels and fresh beach towels whenever we asked by texting. If you want a quiet resort and don’t mind driving or taking a taxi to beaches in the area, then this place is great. If you want to stay and not venture out but want a beach then you will be disappointed.

Everything you need, nothing you don’t!

This resort was great! Clean, friendly, safe, well appointed. Stayed in a villa - it felt very private and quiet but with the benefits of a hotel: room service, fresh towels on request, midweek cleaning, etc. we had a great time!
