We are Local residents that live on the eastside of Maui. Its a 2 1/2 hour drive to Kahului. We are greatful that there is hotel accommodations in central Maui that offers a local rate that sometimes are affordable. i have previously stayed at the Maui Beach Hotel and my experience there this time was a little bit discouraging due to the cleanliness of the room. The Bathroom was full with ants every where even on the towels. there were other bugs in the room. Looks like the bathtub was painted with something that looked like a fast patching up job. The AC didnt work properly and the smell of the room didnt smell anywhere close to smelling clean. Being that our options for accomodations are few in Kahului and because we are locals that is born and raised on Maui and have been staying at these hotels for that amount of time we didnt nake a complaint. We want to always be welcomed to stay at theses hotel but I think we still should be able to share our experience during our stay. Mahalo .

Shout-out to the incredible Maui Beach staff! They are truly amazing! 🌺 We held a two-night event in the ballroom, and from start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Lala and Cheree, just to name a few, along with the entire food service team, were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always ready to help—with a smile! They made change for us more than once, and at one point even let us borrow a stapler. 😊 When we found ourselves needing an additional room at the very last minute, they somehow made it happen. Talk about going the extra mile! And did I mention the food? It was delicious! 😋 Mahalo to the entire Maui Beach staff for your aloha and for helping make our event such a success. Your kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate you!

Should be called the Moody Beach Hotel. Family we stayed there for a five hour sleep and my family‘s eyes ears throat are still burning from the mould🤮 I believe this place should be shut down. We also heard stuff scratching in the walls.

A great hotel stay!
A very nice property. The beachside view at sunrise was amazing. I wish we had stayed there for more nights. We had breakfast, which was a decent deal for a hotel on the islands. My wife enjoyed the variety of offerings.

This hotel in centrally located for business in Maui. The hotel lobby is in great condition, and the rooms are updated. The hallways could use some new carpets, but it is hard to keep up carpets as the hallways are open to the outside air.
