Dec 02, 2025MKV is a great choice
We were a family of four with kids under 12 and it’s iur fourth time at condos in Maui, first time at MKV. We loved this property, our gardenview with kitchenette was completely remodelled, the location was walking distance to so many great activities and restaurants. The free trolley to Whalers village was so handy! Make sure to get off at black rock to snorkel with the turtles for free. We also had a great time at the arcade at the Westin Resort. The beach in front of the property just north had some of the best snorkeling of our trip, and we went to a number of the bays north of the resort. The front desk was very helpful and the pools were great! My only complaint is that the front desk had an excursions sales person that kept calling our room at 8am and was very pushy.

Family holidays
Super convenient location. Pool is cool and nice beach. The stuff was friendly . The only thing I didn’t like was no beach chairs or umbrellas included ( extra charge)

Nov 27, 2025Bugs Everywhere
The resort location and amenities are really nice but unfortunately our room was bug infested beyond our ability to remain in the room or sleep. When reported to the front desk, they were polite to attempt to relocate us but did not have another room for us. We were forced to stay a second night before speaking to the supervisor who provided a refund for the remainder of the stay and we had to find alternative accommodations at a higher rate and not a favorable location. We requested a full refund, but the supervisor said she would not be able to provide refund for the first nights stay. Couldn't cook without having cockroaches attacking our food everywhere. At night, found bugs on the bed. We asked the front desk attendant if this was common and she said yes it is. Very disappointed by this level of customer service.

Beautiful & Quaint- Will stay again
Beautiful clean room, gorgeous property, easy parking, great food at Castaway Cafe, great amenities although we ended up not getting access to laundry (still confused about this). One staff member wanted to help, but the older staff member cut in and was eager to tell me we didn’t get laundry. It’s coin operated…doesn’t make sense. I sent a email to Aston asking for help, still no response. Only issue, would plan for no laundry access next time. Won’t keep us from not going back.

Perfect Room, Outstanding View
My husband and I have stayed at this resort before. We enjoy the property. It is beautiful. On our October, 2025 stay, we had a room that could be classified as a 5 star room in my eyes. And, the view from the 3 sets of windows was stunning. Our room was clean, had all we needed, and was so comfortable all around. The only drawback was that there was no daily room cleaning. We contacted the front desk for new towels. That was such a minor inconvenience compared to all that this property has to offer. We will be back again one day soon!!
