Paradise found! Low key, authentic and clean! Staff pleasant and helpful. Pack light because there is on site laundry! Pool is clean and Barbecue’s work great. Beautiful sandy beach right outside your door. Well manicured landscape. Private self parking and everything close by. Plan to return!!!

Can’t wait to go back!!
The Mauian was a very nice drive up the coast to Kapalua. It was very cute and quaint. Very friendly and easy check in. Parking was tight and limited spaces but we never had trouble finding a spot. The room was very nice size with a kitchenette. We had a lanai and the room had a nice costal vibe going. With the different textures like bamboo, metal and glass. Love those walk in showers. There was small bread rolls with butter, coffee and fresh juice in the little club house in the front of the property. The beach and pool were clean and beautiful. Perfect waves to play in , or sleep to whatever reason you go to the island for. There were 2 or 3 large grills poolside that seem to work well. Such an amazing location and vibe for a romantic get away. Well worth renting a car and getting away from the commercial properties.

Great value on Napili bay
Ocean front resort on the best bay in west Maui. The studios have “partial ocean views” that are better than many other places full ocean views. Request a second floor for the best views, but remember there are no elevators. Studios have a full size refrigerator, two burner cooktop, and a combo microwave/convection oven. All dishes, pans, baking dishes, and silverware are included. The property has 3 large gas BBQs to use. The Napili market has fresh meats, or go to Safeway in Lahaina for a larger selection. Walking distance to several restaurants… The Gazebo and 5315 at Napili Shores, The Sea House at Napili Kai and Merriman’s Kapalua. Short drive to everything else. Kaanapali is 10 minutes away, and Lahaina is only 20 minutes away. If you can’t find anything between Lahaina and Kapalua, you are too picky! There are free chairs to use on the beach. Many people bring beach umbrellas from Costco or rent from a local snorkel shop. We don’t change our bed sheets or bath towels at home daily, so we don’t expect a hotel to do it for us either. We exchanged towels as needed and had the bed made up twice for the week. Maui’s fresh water is precious and unnecessary laundry wastes it. Free morning coffee, tea, and juice in the community room. If you get there early, you might get homemade Hawaiian sweet rolls and fresh fruit. Only a limited amount of bread and fruit is put out daily. We used to stay at Napili Kai. Best hotel experience
I had to cancel my reservation last min do to a family emergency. They were so incredible to work with. From the manager to staff that I emailed with and talk to 100% postive experience. I travel very often to hawaii and have stayed at some of the best hotels but the mauian hotel has something they dont have Aloha spirit and treat you like family . Once again thank you to mangment and staff and thank you for the postive thoughts and Aloha to my family in this difficult time

A Perfect Stay on Napili Bay
We loved our stay at The Mauian. Check-in was incredibly easy, and Junior was fantastic — he welcomed us warmly, helped with our bags, and gave us a quick rundown of everything nearby. A lot of reviews mention parking issues, but in our experience it was no problem at all. We always found a spot, and the concern is overblown. The real magic here is the location. Our room was literally just steps from the ocean. Napili Bay is calm, clear, and perfect for beginners — my wife even went snorkeling for the first time, and absolutely loved it. It was an extraordinary experience. If you want a peaceful, beautifully situated hotel right on one of Maui’s best beaches, The Mauian is a true gem. We can’t wait to return.
