    not convenient and expensive

    This hotel is not in the tourist centre which makes it inconvenient for tourists. It is very expensive and probably rates itself as 5 stars and certainly charges as though it is. I would rate it maybe 4 star. The shower doesn’t work properly, there is no information in the room, the restaurant is average to say the least and the room is small for the price. I am disappointed in this stay which was arranged by a travel agent and it has put a dampener on our impression of Barcelona.

    A mixed review

    Staff made us feel very welcome. Front desk held our luggage when we arrived too early, apologized and gave us a free drink when our room still wasn’t ready when promised. Room was cleaned and made up well. We asked for a king bed but had 2 made-up twin beds pushed together. Location was good. Convenient to bus and metro as well as walked to many places. The AC isn’t terrific in the room. The safe didn’t lock. The shower was nice. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Beds are comfortable. The hotel was very full and we could hear doors slamming, toilets flushing and conversations - even through ear plugs. Hard to sleep. When the tour group left, we were able to sleep. We were charged for using the mini bar even though we did not take anything.

    Delightful Accommodations

    The MELIA BARCELONA SARRIÀ Staff are professional, courteous and extremely helpful. The sheets and pillows are perfect. The entire Hotel is clean. It’s located in a nice area. I stayed in this Hotel for a week for a March visit and couldn’t be happier. I loved eating in the Restaurant.

    Excellent friendly and welcoming staff

    Staff is excellent. They really care about the quality of your stay and so very friendly. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms are comfortable. Very loud when windy but not much can be done about that. Very modern. Would have given 5 stars but noticed a few things that were not adequately cleaned in the room. Location good but I personally wish we would have stayed closer to Gracia.

    Great place

    Хубав хотел в сърцето на Барселона 981358914 Nice hotel in the heart of Barcelona 981358914 The hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance of the main attractions and currently has good transport links to the airport and other key locations in Barcelona. Very friendly and smiling staff, thanks appreciated to Daniel and the reception team. The rooms offer convenience and comfort typical of the Melia chain. The breakfast was more than good.
