We just love this resort every staff member from servers to cleaners to entertainment to managers always go above and beyond to ensure that everyone has a great experience Obviously we are repeat visitors we spent the month of April and the month of November at memories we are fortunate to have met friends that we meet up with there we also have introduced the resort to other friends who now have become repeaters … this November had the opportunity to introduce our cousins to this peaceful tranquil home away from home they too will return ..we had a lovely room with a walk-in shower for the first time it was wonderful for my husband who has mobility issues :) I can’t say enough good about it oh yes the chefs and cooks and line cooks are fantastic !! I have nothing but good to say about this resort

Our 6th visit and definitely not our last.
This was our sixth visit to Memories Jibacoa, and once again it reminded us why we keep coming back. The resort continues to deliver a consistently enjoyable experience, balancing comfort, relaxation, and warm hospitality. The food has remained reliably good, with plenty of variety and well-prepared dishes at every meal. From fresh options at the buffet to the à la carte choices, we were pleased with both the quality and the presentation. It’s refreshing to return to a resort where meals are more than an afterthought. The beach is one of the resort’s best features. The water is clear, calm, and ideal for swimming or simply relaxing by the shore. The pool area is also well maintained, offering another comfortable option for cooling off and unwinding with a great view of the mountains . The staff continue to be a highlight. Their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication make the atmosphere welcoming from the moment you arrive. Many staff members go out of their way to ensure guests feel valued, and after multiple visits, it’s nice to see familiar faces who remember us. Special thanks to Kiki for always making sure our visit is amazing and Chef Antonio for keeping our bellies full. Overall, Memories Jibacoa remains a dependable and enjoyable vacation choice. The combination of good food, a beautiful beach, a relaxing pool, and excellent staff keeps us returning year after year.

Happy Place
I really don’t know where to start! Weeks before my trip, the anticipation of returning, for the fifth time, is greater than when I first went to Memories Jibacoa. Who would have thought that a bond develops between yourself and the wonderful people there. Just a few to be named are: Kiki, Daniel, “Babe”, Elaine, Maria, Yendri, Marcos, Edonia, Yeni and Mailin. I really do like the location of the hotel. It’s snuggled down in a cove with mountains and trees surrounding the hotel, with no other building to be seen. Just so very peaceful with all the well maintained gardens on the property. If you want to do some sightseeing you can set that up with your tour rep or Jose at the front entrance. It is a special experience to travel in one of the well maintained “vintage” cars, which Jose has! Personally at the hotel, I always like a lower floor room. It is an older hotel but every time I’ve been at Memories, the rooms have been well maintained and very clean! No complaints at all! So far, the cost of the travel package has been affordable and I feel good value. With so much uncertainty in the world, I hope this continues. I should also mention the different activities available. It so much fun to sail in the ocean on a “Cat”, with Nelson, who has lots of area knowledge. Paddle boats are also a good way for a little workout! I managed to see one of the nightly stage presentations this year. It was “Retro Night”. It was so good. Most of the time our group is so busy doing other things that we miss the stage show! I always make sure I go to “The Piano Bar”. The atmosphere can be different every day…. quiet and relaxed or loud and jumping. Lots of fun! Even with all of these activities I have never found the resort to be noisy. I also take the “Premium Plan” when I make my travel arrangements. I find I like the choice of more “sit down” dinners and the other benefits associated with premium. I must say, the buffet and the different restaurants all have good food. I never noticed any glaring shortages in any of the food areas. The only problem I found is, my stay is never long enough!!!! The planning is already in the works for next year!

Warm service
Since traveling to Cuba, I've realized that what truly symbolizes it is its people, and that's precisely the impression this hotel left me with. I have no complaints, I loved the service, which was incredibly warm and welcoming. They made my family and me feel right at home. It definitely wasn't a goodbye forever.

End of year get away .
Great resort . The people who work there are the best ! The food was plentiful. Just some of the wonderful staff . Our third time there . We have made some great memories with some of the staff .
