Just returned after a three night stay. In the unlikely event I would return to torremolinos this hotel would be my first choice. The rooms are lovely with good bathroom. All very clean. Staff all superb. Breakfast good, the normal sort of things for a Spanish hotel. Anyone staying in winter would not be able to sit by the pool as it is completely shaded by two o’clock and is also very small for a hotel of that size. What lets the hotel down is the food at dinner the cold buffet was excellent, however the hot buffet was very poor unless you are a pescatarian. On the last night the only meat choice were the very dried up, tough, lamb and pork “chops”. They were there every night and totally inedible. There was plenty of fish. This meant the only choice for us was salad which was nice but not on a very cold day. Dessert selection was good. My advice would be to stay on bed and breakfast basis and eat out at one of the numerous restaurants that surround the hotel

Melia Costa Del Sol is a nice modern resort across the road to the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Rooms are nice, facilities are great and breakfast excellent. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of eateries and souvenir shops all along the waterfront. The kind of establishment for a 4 or 5 day stay.

Amazing Stay - 5 Stars
The Meliã hotel chain has become one of my favourite places to stay. We’ve now stayed at four of the Meliā or Meliā affiliated hotels, and the high standard has been evident in all of them, and this one is no different. This hotel has easy access to the beach and its own beach bar, local bars and restaurants along the sea front and a taxi rank within 5 minutes walk. There are also two sets of steps that can take you up into Torremolinos town centre, there’s also 2 lifts located behind the hotel which will take you up and down too. Our room (which I this was recently refurbished) had an amazing view overlooking the sea (side view) and a beautiful rock face with local plants and trees situated there. Well worth the small extra to pay for a better room I think. The room also came equipped with a fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and sugar. We received a small bottle of water free in the room, two chargeable bottle, and chargeable Coke and Fanta Lemon. There are nice toiletries provided in the bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, liquid hand-soap and moisturiser). They are really high quality and smell amazing. The beds were also really comfortable. The breakfast was extremely tasty, including cooked and continental options, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, pancakes, churro, omelette/egg station, cakes, pastries, a multitude of breads, juices, teas and freshly ground coffees. We opted for evening meal too, which is a buffet style - soups, salads, cheese, meats, breads etc. The hot food each night also included fish, meats, stews, curry's, pizza’s potatoes etc, and the most delicious Paella’s I have ever tasted. There are plentiful desserts too which are delicious. The bar at the hotel was a little expensive, but a nice setting if you fancied a drink and some good entertainment on an evening. I have to say this is one of my favourite hotels to stay in with amazing and friendly staff throughout the hotel. The guys in the restaurant really helped me with my quest to learn Spanish. The pluses Its location Very clean throughout Comfortable Room The staff are super friendly The breakfast and evening meal are delicious The Meliã Rewards And I think the reasonable cost The Negatives None really, the bar maybe a little pricy, but its good for those who don’t want to wonder out. We are already planning our third visit for next year, we can’t wait to return!

First class hotel
Just returned for a weeks stay was in this hotel last year again excellent service . We upgraded to the level rooms which was fab. Complimentary wine , soft drinks, cakes and between 7 and 9 beer also included. Beach is just across the road which is ideal . All staff extremely nice and helpful from check in right through this hotel . I would highly recommend this hotel and we will defo be back next year keep up the good work👍

Not for “Foodies”. Not convenient for Torremolinos town
The Good: Modern and comfortable hotel Spacious, nicely decorated rooms No-charge in-room security safe Good cleanliness and housekeeping Nice rooftop terrace with second swimming pool Plenty of sunbeds around the pool (November) Good public areas - especially the main central bar (with efficient waiters) Reasonable evening entertainment programme Reasonably priced drinks Good free WiFi and 5G mobile signal Location is literally on the beach The Not So Good: Disappointingly average (at best) food. Basic choice and no recipe dishes. Bland and uninspiring. Poor waiting service in the restaurant (used plates rarely cleared away) The lifts are extremely slow so you will wait a while. Location: the only way to walk into the town is up literally hundreds of steps over a cliff. If you cannot manage steps you are stranded in the hotel unless you use a taxi 30€ deposit per sunbed towel and 1€ charge every time they are changed Conclusion: If you don’t mind paying a premium price for mediocre food in a decent enough hotel, then this may be for you. Otherwise stay elsewhere or on a B&B basis only (there are plenty of nearby restaurants). If you have mobility problems I would avoid (unless you are content to stay in the hotel).
