Very nice hotel with extreme noise around
We spent two nights in two rooms with a shared vestibule (403/404) on a family trip. We booked Level rooms, but it must be noted that this does not mean you are actually staying on Floor 6, where the Level Lounge is. Rather, you have check-in, breakfast and access at this floor, in a more private environment. On the positive side: this is a very nice hotel with cosy, clean and newly refurbished rooms, very friendly and supportive staff, some nice view and amenities in the Level Lounge. Above all, marketing these semi-connected rooms are a very useful and clever concept, the pricing is absolutely fair and it may well be the most comfortable option to accommodate 2 adults with 2 children across all Granada hotels. (We had done a lot of research). On the negative side: breakfast quality at the Level lounge leaves a bit to be desired (quite dull with limited hot options, of which the Egg Benedict was definitely terrible, the sauce reminiscent of North American plastic sauces). The lounge was sometimes overcrowded, and some of the public was not necessarily very sophisticated. However the single biggest issue was that the surrounding streets were EXTREMELY noisy at night. We couldn't believe how noisy it would become, especially on 30 December, when hordes of drunken people were howling until 6am all around the hotel, and the single-pane windows were totally insufficient to protect the room from the hollering. We felt in the middle of a Lazio - Roma football match, no exaggeration. Perhaps this is a hotel where you are better off with rooms inside, overlooking the patio, and then it is a very nice hotel indeed.

Great for Sightseeing, Perfect Location with Basic Rooms and Facilities
This hotel offers excellent service in some areas but faces operational challenges in others. The balcony of our master suite provided a beautiful, relaxing escape to watch the Alhambra and city unfold in the morning sun. The cleaning staff and laundry team are top-tier, ensuring a spotless and well-maintained suite every morning, big thanks to the friendly and professional lady who took care of the suite. We chose this hotel specifically for the Executive Lounge and dining options, but both were major disappointments. That said, the lounge environment needs better management, as it was frequently disrupted by unsupervised children. Leaving food items uncovered and allowing children to handle them with bare hands is unacceptable from a food safety and hygiene perspective. I also want to commend one member of the breakfast team in the executive lounge who spoke English effortlessly, for her attentive, friendly, and professional service. Furthermore, having only one restaurant that is always at capacity without a reservation is quite limiting for guests who prefer more flexibility during their stay. Better lounge enforcement or a more flexible dining system would have improved our experience.

Overpriced and not worth it. Staff could be much more friendlier
The hotel is not worth the money we paid for. Here is what went wrong: 1. The two rooms booked were very warm and thermostat did not work. Even after telling staff, nothing was done. 2. No one from staff asked how is your stay upon check out. It's as if they could care less. 3. Workers at breakfast could smile more and be more friendly. They all seemed serious and in a hurry. They even were measuring how much water we consumed even though I had expressed that the water was for my kids. The inherent message is don't over indulge even if the breakfast was an all you can eat buffet. 4. Only two are to be congratulated, the dark-skinned lady with the cook hat was very nice with us and my kids and the young woman was working on 1/2/2026, looks like she just started and was very nice with us. 5. During the New Year Party, was told the drinks were for money even when the front lady said it was complimentary only for that night. Overall, I stayed in many hotels around Europe for a lower cost and got a greater value, service with other competitors. This hotel disappointed. PLEASE DO NOT RESERVE your stay here.

Really excellent hotel for exploring Granada.
We chose to stay in the Level at Meliá Granada, having previously enjoyed stays at The Level Meliá Sevilla and The Level Meliá Barcelona Sky. Meliá Granada is in an excellent location for walking all around the beautiful City of Granada. It is in a stylish area of the city and there are many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Checkin at The Level reception on the 6th floor was quick and friendly. Our room on the 4th floor was comfortable with sufficient storeage space, and the bathroom (shower only) was small but adequate. The comfortable Level lounge on the top floor had wonderful views across the rooftops of Granada to the Alhambra Palace. It was a great place to enjoy breakfast and early evening drinks with tapas whilst enjoying the view. We would without doubt stay at the Meliá Granada if visiting Granada again.
