  Not ready for guests until refreshed.

  Very disappointed for claiming to be 4 Star hotel. Guest room needs complete redo from top to bottom. Towels do not match. Deep cut in headboard. Bathroom dirty, all faucets and drains awful, shower curtain yellow stains no amenities or bathrobe. Had to ask for everything. Safe fixed and broke 3 more times. Construction all over and with jack hammer blasting outside my door. Thin dirty scratchy wool blanket- not a comforter or quilt. European Meila’s much better.

  Great experience in the offseason

  I came in for a day pass but having a resort close to airport was good for me as I was staying nearby. I enjoyed how active the pool area was with activities eventhough the hotel was less busy that previous times I have been here. Keni, Alejandra and Cass did an excellent job in teaching some dancing. I can't say anything for rooms this visit but I bet they are nice or better than the last time I stayed as there was renovations being done. It was quiter this time as the renovations at this time were in less busy parts of the hotel. Breakfast and lunch were both delicious and the drinks were enough for me to consider I got my money's worth. I will probably be back with my family in the winter for a longer stay.

  A beautiful property.

  Excellent Stay! We loved the property. The staff was very kind and polite. They were also very attentive to service. Everyone did their best to make our stay an amazing one! Big thanks to Rebeca and Diana from reception. Dayana from the Concierge area. Gilberto, Diana, Nanci, Porfirio, Victoria, Yossias, Victor and Raul from the restaurants and beverages. We truly enjoyed the buffet at Mosaico, it was a great selection. We also thank Betty from the vibe team, as well as Yennis. We highly recommend this hotel. The atmosphere is great for families, we loved how they try to preserve all the natural areas. We were able to see a turtle nesting on the beach, A beautiful experience! Although we had a small situation in our room, the reception and David helped us fix the problem swiftly. We also want to thank Eduardo from departure. These are some names that we are sharing, however, the entire staff at the property made our experience an incredible one! The location is also excellent. We love the Marina Vallarta área. I was able to get a really good sleep. Noise was not a problem in our room. From my perspective, cleanliness was great. The property felt clean and comfortable. The value offered was excellent. I truly believe it was worth it.

  Booked a Room to use for the day while on a Cruise

  The hotel would not entertain a check in before 3pm. Pool food is terrible, drink service is slow at the pool. Hard to find seats at the pool. Check in process is very slow, they still have paperwork! Checking out on the same day I had to fill out more paperwork! Antiquated processes.

  Past due renovation, not worth it.

  It was very bad from the beginning, overcrowded resort and pressure to sign up for the Club sales pitch. The hotel is well past due a renovation they say they have plans to convert it to a Paradisus, the location is great but the beach is not so great. Many of the staff make their best effort to help but some are just jaded and hunting for undeserved tips. You don't tip because you got bad service and then you get worse service and fit becomes a vicious circle. I saw the reviews before and I had a stay at velas booked, and sadly ended deciding for this because of the activities. Bad decision.
