Feb 14, 2026Beautiful hotel grounds, food and staff let the hotel down
I could spend ages writing this review as it will pretty much say what most have already said... but here goes. 1, huge grounds, and very well maintained, the grounds staff need a medal they are so lovely. 2, buggies run every 10 mins or so 24/7 and the drivers are brilliant 3, rooms are dated and definitely need upgrading. We had a tropical beach room block 3 and then moved over to the level, block 14. I actually thought our room in block 3 was much better, it had loads more storage space, and the cleaning ladies at block 3 were much better. 4, food, I am sorry but this gets an absolute zero. We both ended up with the "runs" that lasted until a trip to the Dr's when we got home. The food at EVERY buffet was luke warm at best. And at the level we repeatedly sent back raw salmon and chicken. 5, Drinks, cocktails at the main bar at reception were ok, beer was good and wine, palatable at best. Once upgraded to the level we went on branded, but with the runs we did not really get to experience very much. 6, Beach, it was lovely, its our favourite place, we don't do pools so having a great beach is a massive plus. 7, staff. The staff at the coffee stand were exceptional. As were the buggy drivers and gardeners. After that well....... if I heard ""I no speak no English!!!!:"" once per day I heard it a million times. This language barrier was ridiculous. Reception, bar, waiters etc all demonstrating, little to no English, which made them appear to come over as very rude at best. This was supposed to be a 5 star hotel and no staff can speak English.??? Crazy. All in all this holiday was a big let down, I would not recommend upgrading to the level, it is not worth it at all. Would I return, no, the food and staff let the hotel down.

I did not enjoy my stay here. The food was not good. I didn’t have one good meal, in fact I got so desperate I used Uber Eats. My room was mediocre. The sheets were dirty on the first day which I didn’t notice until the following morning (gross). There was no hot water in the shower my entire trip, and because I had already unpacked I didn’t care to go through a room change not to mention the check-in was a mess, my key stopped working the first day and I didn’t want to deal with the level desk again so I just dealt with it. The buffet was terrible. Room service was terrible. Everything just wasn’t good. There was a guy cutting the grass wearing all green and he catcalled me in front of my boyfriend and when my boyfriend turned around he pretended to be asking for a dollar. That was so strange. I wasn’t happy about any part of my stay.

Feb 14, 2026Solid bones but there are consistency issues
The infrastructure is great and it’s a wonderful location but there is a lack of consistency across the resort. If you can find a manager floating around they are very helpful but many of the staff are bored and move with glacial slowness. This is problematic because it’s nearly Impossible to get food or drinks without staff interaction. We found there was a lot of unnecessary gatekeeping - would have preferred more self-serve options, especially for drinks. We would consider going again but only at the right price point. Overall this is a 7/10 resort that prices itself as 9/10

Chair shortage!
CHAIRS!!! Where TF are all the chairs! You have guests laying towels everywhere! This should tell you that you don’t have enough chairs for all of your guests! Invest in more chairs! Will not pay good money to be aggravated everyday searching for a chair at the pool or beach!
