  Good view, no service/help.

  Unfortunately, the service during our week-long stay was extremely disappointing. The view is beautiful, but if you expect even basic assistance during your stay, be prepared to handle things on your own. I called several times simply requesting additional towels and received little to no help. There are laundry machines somewhere around the property, but their location was never clearly pointed out to us. More importantly, there are signs throughout the property encouraging guests to conserve water and be eco-friendly, which I completely support. Running an entire washing machine for just a couple of towels seems wasteful and defeats that purpose. We also specifically asked about housekeeping and were told they would come 1–2 times during our week-long stay. That would have been perfectly reasonable, except housekeeping never came at all. At this point, our trash has accumulated to the point that we barely have anywhere to put it. I even left a message specifically for housekeeping and received no response or assistance. I don't expect daily housekeeping or excessive service, but fresh towels and trash removal during a week-long stay are very basic requests. I made multiple attempts to communicate our needs and was repeatedly left without help. The view is genuinely nice, but the lack of attentiveness and basic guest support significantly affected our experience. If you're looking for a property where someone will actually respond when you need something during your stay, I would look elsewhere

  Not during a tropical storm

  We stayed here about 10 years and looked forward to returning. Sadly we booked with 'my perfect stays' and the only communication we could have with them during the Tropical Storm was through AI texting. We had room H263. Great view of the ocean. Napili is great place as it is a little cooler. But with El Nino season, we wouldn't recommend Napili Shores. We had 40-45 mph winds two days before the storm hit. The units have a screen next to the sliding doors. Plantation blinds covering them that allow the sounds to come through very loud....same situation in the bedrooms. It would be nice if we were provided some emergency lights besides a little light to help get around in the dark. We lost power for 28 hours so we had discomfort without the A/C. We thought we would be comfortable with the Split A/C but it was very humid.

  We love Napili Shores!

  We love Napili Shores! This was our second time in Maui and there was no question that we wanted to stay at Napili Shores again. The room is comfortable and it has all that you need to make meals, there is also a bbq area outside that guests can use. The Gazebo restaurant is on the property, they have the best mac nut pancakes! The staff is wonderful and always helpful and friendly. We 100% recommend this place!

  Beautiful hidden gem

  This is a hidden gem of a hotel. We had an oceanfront lanai and it was perfect. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was great, and we loved eating breakfast on the lanai. We even bbqd one evening, using the facilities on the grounds, Would highly recommend.

  Beautiful resort with all of the amenities you will need, gorgeous view and steps away from Napili Bay Beach access too!

  Napili Shores Maui by Outrigger exceeded all of our expectations. I traveled with my sons, who are 15 and 12 years old. We arrived later in the evening and we were greeted promptly by a security guard, who was able to check us into our room. The next morning, I formally checked in with the front desk and spoke with Angel, who was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room had a gorgeous view of Napili Bay and the grounds were kept immaculate. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. It slept three of us very comfortably and we all were able to have our own beds. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the balcony was lovely to sit on in the morning with some coffee. The beach access to Napili Bay was wonderful, such a great place to snorkel, play in the waves and sunbathe. My boys wanted to return to this beach nearly every day and preferred it over many others. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Maui, especially with kids. The resort makes it very easy to get to the beach, has lovely grounds, even with barbecues if you choose to do some of your own cooking. If we ever return to Maui, we will definitely be staying here again!
