  Great Napili location

  Great location and beautiful views. Very clean and not noisy at all. Had a great time at Napili Point resort.

  Lovely family friendly property

  This resort is 3, 2 storied buildings. 2 buildings are right on the beach and the 3rd building (studios) are across a small narrow street. We stayed in a first floor 2 bedroom condo (#123) as part of a large family gathering. It was absolutely perfect for our week+ of a 36 person gathering . Families in our group could get the size condo they needed (studio, 1 or 2 bedroom) and be on the same property as the rest of the group. The office personnel were welcoming and friendly as was the cleaning staff throughout our stay. The condo was clean and roomy for the 4 of us, and as pictured on the website. With the pull out couch it could easily hold 6. It had full kitchen equipment and eating/serving items so we had no problem cooking meals or having enough dishes. There were also 2 well maintained gas grills on the property that we also used for cooking. Our condo had 2 Lani's one off the main room and the other off the Master bedroom, both with 4 chairs and a table. Both also had planting on the sides so was kind of a private sitting area. Off the Lani was a grassy lawn area with lounge chairs which was great for gathering or communal meals for our large group. Beyond the grass was the beach and ocean. Although because of environmental erosion there is not access to the beach right off the grass there is a walkway between the 2 buildings so beach access was not a problem at all. There is a paid laundry room on site, and this or the office was also the spot to pick up any additional toilet paper, coffee or other needed items. With many condo type rentals this is not offered so we felt this was a plus. No need to pack any beach towels either because there was no problem obtaining and exchanging the properties beach towels. The room entry system is electronic and we opted for the waterproof wrist band that worked great and no lost keys or cards. The 2 bedrooms were air conditioned but the main area was not, but had a fan. We felt we really did not need the air con in the main area as the breezes were fine. This may however bother people that need it ice cold when they are indoors. Our only negative was there was little shade at the pool area and it could have used some umbrella's or cabana type features. In July before 10 the building blocked the sun but after that it was full sun. The pool is also not super kid friendly as the shallow end is very small and has a slippery sloop to the deep end. This property is within walking distance of the farmers market, small grocers, several very nice restaurants, and snorkeling equipment rental shops. You can also park your rental for free on site. I would highly recommend this family friendly property and would come back here if we ever come back to Maui

  Perfect Family or Couples Getaway

  This was our 12th time/year coming to Maui and staying at The Napili Sunset. We always enjoy our stay here. The condos are typical Hawaiian decor, they are clean, cozy, and come with all the amenities of home. With a full kitchen that includes all the cook and prep-ware, you can prepare your own meals and sit on the lanai to enjoy the sunset while you eat. We bring our two older boys and they sleep on the fold out sofa couches, while we take the bedroom. Napili Sunset is right on Napili Bay just steps to the water. If the beach isn't your thing, they also have a wonderful heated pool! Napili is on the quieter side of the island. It is not full of tourists and traffic. A perfect serene getaway! I am sure we will be going back soon....
