  Great weekend away!

  After reading so many negative reviews I was nervous for my vacation but it turns out that my experience was mostly positive. We stayed four nights which was perfect amount of time to try everything PROS Our room was spacious with huge balcony Dominican food night which was my favorite, great food and fresh coconuts! The buffet is fabulous with SO many options and open for all meals loved stopping daily for iced coffee and ice cream at the sweetery There are bars everywhere so it’s easy to grab a drink Daily at the pool there is a fresh grilled bbq lunch which is lovely We followed the schedule and were able to get photos with close to 15 characters. Face painting available most nights shows were great, magic and Michael Jackson We paid extra to get slimed which was worth it and for the turtle dinner which was not worth Snick lounge was super cute and highly recommend the spa! CONS check in and check out takes a little too long and there should be welcome drinks on arrival Avoid time share presentation shows are late for little kids

  Uncleanliness, rude staff, scam do not book

  Upon arrival, our room was clearly not properly cleaned. There were visible crumbs on the carpet, stains around the tub area, toothpaste streaks on the mirrors, and debris/trash particles on the floor. Even more concerning, multiple critical safety features in the room were non-functional. Neither the main door nor the sliding door locked at all, and the in-room safe was also broken and unusable. This directly contradicts the resort’s own published safety plan and in-room safety manual, which explicitly state that functioning door locks and safes are required to ensure guest safety. Traveling with a toddler, this created a significant safety risk and caused ongoing anxiety throughout our stay. The failure to maintain these basic safety measures is unacceptable for a family-focused resort and represents a serious violation of the property’s own safety standards. When I reported these issues to the front desk, I was met with repeated indifference. I had to walk back and forth to the lobby multiple times to speak with management, only to be told each time that nothing could be done because the resort was fully booked. No alternative solutions, temporary safety measures, room repairs, or accommodations were offered, nor was any genuine concern expressed. We were also not greeted or welcomed upon arrival, which set the tone for the entire experience. Additionally, we were never informed about the Karisma app during check-in and only learned of its existence from another guest after being left completely in the dark for the first two days of our stay. Most distressingly, shortly after returning home, my toddler was diagnosed with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. While I understand that illness can occur in many environments, the documented lack of cleanliness in our room and common touch surfaces raises serious concerns about the sanitation standards maintained during our stay. As a family traveling with a young child, cleanliness and hygiene are non-negotiable expectations. I have extensive photo documentation of the unsanitary room conditions, the non-functioning door locks, and the broken safe. Given the severity of these concerns — including violations of the resort’s own safety policies, unsanitary conditions, poor communication, and potential health implications for my child — I strongly urge families to reconsider booking this property.

  Prefect Vacation for entire the family

  Great place for the entire family!!! This was my 2nd time coming here and it wont be the last. I love the staff the food and entertainment. 10/10. The rooms are clean and so is the entire resort. The staffs are amazing, when you here just ask for my guy LEO, he'll take great care for you. Overall totally worth. My kids absolutely loved it and came wait to come back.

  4th Visit- What’s still good, what’s changed…

  We visited as a family of 10 in January. We had three nest swim up rooms in building 9 facing the swim up bar. Overall the rooms were nice but you could tell there was some general wear and tear that needs attention. Daybed cushions had rips and two out of our three rooms had issues with our safes and missing blow dryers. Cleanliness though was top notch, the hallways were constantly being cleaned and our room always felt tidy 10/10 to the cleaning staff. Being on the main floor can be loud - noise travels Dow the hallways and doors slam. Bring earplugs. This was our first time returning since Nickelodeon took over the entire resort from Sensatori. The expansion allowed for more space to swim and explore. They opened the Papaya bar for the first time in 4 years the week we arrived. The resort map you get at check in is out of date and I’m sure causes confusion for many when they come for the first time. Food- I see a lot of complaints about the food on here but honestly it hasn’t changed much since our first visit. My biggest complaint is the QR code menus!! Please bring back real menus. You are on vacation and for us we had 6 people in our group who didn’t carry phones (4 kids and 2 grandparents) so we all had to share phones to see the menu every time we ate. Sometimes the menu didn’t just show up and the poor waiter had to try and verbally tell us the options. Be sure to eat at the restaurants, the buffet experience was the only night we weren’t happy with. I’ve uploaded pictures of the food- you can decide for yourself if you think it’s worth the price. Waterpark- love the new addition of waterslides especially for the older kids. Things that have changed- the beach vendors have got more annoying- security lets them come up more than in the past. The nighttime entertainment was very packed - people had to reserve seats well in advance in the theatre. The reserving of chairs by the pool have got a bit out of hand. And the washrooms by the beach need some upgrades. Overall there are some staff there who will make or break your trip. A special thanks to Jose who has helped us every visit for the last 10 years! Carlos and Daniel at the beach bar, Luis at the Jazmin bar and the gentleman running the Papaya bar who put up with our games of water football!
