Ms.
The location is good. The rooms are dated. The food needs better cooks and quality. I would return if the rooms are updated and cleanliness.

Breathtakingly beautiful resort
-*Ask* for the brand of alcohol you want in your drink or else you will get the cheapest. -Bring at least 2 types of footwear your are comfortable walking in. You will do a lot of of it -bring a little flashlight for the elderly to see paths and menus -bars open at 11 am. Restaurants close from 11am to noon, and from 4:30 to 6pm, so plan accordingly

Trouble in Paradise
Second time at the resort and scheduled again in February. We had an issue with the room, then difficulties getting it resolved. Then Gustavo and Jose stepped up to get us into a new room with a great view, clean, and hot water. The resort is beautiful and full of nature. Wide selection of restaurants and pools. The beach is a lagoon so crystal-clear water, lots of fish, and no seaweed. There is also an adults only sea water pool which is a great place to hang out if you want a quiet afternoon. Each day we walked next door to XCARET park to spend a couple hours in the morning, then pools, beach, or sea pool for the afternoon.

Nice, but could be better
The resort was nice, upgrades could be done. Drinks and food were Americanized too much. Pools were decent, staff was friendly. Dislike-When reservations were made, we were given a certain dress code, but we noticed others were not given the same and were allowed in. Monkeys everywhere was nice, but after awhile we had to watch for poop.
