Aug 30, 2026Our amazing experience staying at Occidental Caribe, Punta Cana
The hotel was very clean and well-kept, the room was well presented. For an all-inclusive hotel with such great service, it was surprisingly very affordable. The food was great and you can get a variety of food and drinks at several restaurants, buffets and bars all day and night. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and they had an amazing programme that kept you entertained all day and night. Our assigned Butler, Baroni Rodrigues did an amazing job. He decorated the room for our special occasion, made our restaurant reservation and ensured that our stay was memorable. 10/10.

The casino rocks!!!!!
Stayed at Occidental Caribe in Punta Cana for a week and decided to check out the hotel casino one night. They have a game called “the Key Game” according to the dealer where you use a laser to pick keys off a rack, anyway long story short I ended up winning over 51k(in dollars!!!) Still can’t believe it… The casino is small and typical for a resort, but that payout made the whole stay, hell the whole quarter.. . If you’re at Occidental Caribe, go into the casino. I walked in for something to do and walked out with a bag for real!!🤯

Great time at Occidental Caribe
My family and I spent a 1 week in Occidental caribe and it was amazing . Everyone was so friendly, place was well organized and clean . The housekeepers were nice and made sure we get everything we needed , front desk was always available to answer questions , our Butler Baroni Rodriguez was great and ensure we knew our ways around & made reservations for us at almost all the restaurants. He has great communication skills and very kind ! Thank you to everyone that made sure me and my family had an amazing time .

Great experience for my Family & I
Occidental Caribe is amazing for a family vacation . I went with my wife and son and we all had an amazing time . The place is very organized with plenty of activities and fun stuff to do everyday . Our butler Baroni Rodriguez was great with communicating with us and answering all of our questions. He was constantly checking in and making sure we get reservations in for our dinner . We will definitely be visiting again . Thank you for everyone who made our family trip great !

My experience here turned out to be good but started off terrible. First day and leak in bathroom and maintenance guy said it was fixed and it wasn’t. The service from the staff was excellent. Especially my assigned Bulter Baroni Rodriguez. He was very attentive and helpful in every way possible. The building is outdated and needs some renovation. The water doesn’t get hot enough for a nice warm shower. That’s was disappointing. My first room had a very bad leak from upstairs unit and maintenance guy tried patching up the job saying it was fixed didn’t know that I was well experienced in the field of repairs. The food was ok, only if buffet could have been hotter . Fried ice cream was delicious

Hotel Spring Break Policy - The hotel will not accept any Spring Break groups. If the hotel does make an exception the following policy will be strictly applied: Students / youth are considered by the hotel as anyone between 16 and 23 years old. They will be required to sign a responsibility letter agreeing to leave the hotel if there is a disruption. Upon check in each student / youth will be required to leave cash deposit of $400 per person - no exceptions and cash only. Minimum age requirement for hotel check in is 18. Any guests under the age of 18 will require a chaperone. 1 chaperone is required per 3 students / youth under the age of 18. Minimum age for a chaperone is 28.
Legal drinking age in the DR is 18. Any guests under 18 will be given a wrist band that will not allow them to have access to alcohol at any venue and will also not allow them in the disco. All guests are required to wear wristbands. The cost for a lost wristband is $250 - no exceptions. The hotel does reserve the right to ask any student / youth to check out of the property if the hotel policies are not fulfilled without the right to a refund for the remaining nights of the reservation.
