Mexico Lindo Restaurant
Mexico Lindo restaurant was fantastic. Antonio was a great waiter and took the time to explain each dish making sure we tried all of the favorites The food was very good. Almost too much to eat. The welcome margarita was excellent. The rest of the staff was very friendly too!

Friends birthday!!
Overall stay was good, front desk needs to be faster during check-in process, bar needs to be opened later at night (we’re on vacation), food was great.

Great getaway
We stayed at the Occidental Costa Cancun in January, 2025. It is a small resort and easy to get around. The beach is small and is next to the canal into the bay so it was fun to watch the yachts and tour boats coming and going. The pool area is very nice. The food at the buffet was good and our favorite waiter, Martin, was wonderful, always smiling and pleasant. My only complaint would be the complete lack of Mexican cuisine at the buffet. We did not eat at any of the specialty restaurants. The room was huge and clean and we had a balcony with a pool view. The staff were friendly and always available. The Mudslides at the beach bar awesome!

Great hotel
Had an amazing time overall. Good food, comfortable beds, well stocked mini bar. Nice rooms. Good pool, good entertainment. Friendly staff. Juanita Chavarria at the bar in particular - sweetest and most attentive host ever. The negatives: because there is no deposit for the beach towels, people just leave their towels on the sun beds, even if they don’t intend to come back, so you never know if they’re taken or not. Not enough sun loungers. Check out is at 11 and you’re only allowed to use the facilities until 3. Many people had their transport much after 3, including us, so we had to wait around in the lounge, without food or drinks. In these temperatures very difficult. Of course you can buy from the hotel owned gift shop but that defeats the purpose of an all inclusive for me… I think management needs to review these two points.

Wonderful Resort!
Great resort! Wonderful staff, especially manager Luis and Alfredo, Vanilly and Stephanie in the restaurants. Friendly people, very clean and safe area! Beach is swimable, no major seaweed issues at all. Loads of beach and pool lounges to choose from. Will definitely go back !
