The Royal Restaurant offers amazing food and service at the resort, all thanks to the wonderful cooks and servers: Wendy, Faviana, Dileynys, and Fermin. Jose, the room attendant for my room, did a fantastic job and made sure the mini bar was always well stocked.

The Assistant Manager for Reservations, Mirka Jimenez Mejia, is extremely rude. I recommend going elsewhere.

Terrible
I would never come back here again. It used to be our favorite hotel for many years, but after ten years it is not what it used to be. For one, the big pool was unavailable,due to maintenance, four out of the five theme restaurants were unavailable, also due to maintenance or whatever. And the remaining restaurants were lacking good quality food, even at the restaurant in the royal level. Clearly they used frozen meat and fish, nothing fresh. We have been to many other hotels, in comparison the food quality here is really substandard. The nerve, to fold my dirty used towel and put it back as if it is a clean one! Most of our complaints have been passed on, but nothing done about it, not even an apology,. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent service in buffet
We had a great time there. In the buffet Alvaro Mendes was great, he was so friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. On our last day there he set the table with flowers and napkins in the shape of hearts. Everyone in the restaurant was super and attentive to us. Alvaro made us feel like family. He is excellent.
