great
i just a little advise be carefull walking after it rains pathways are very slippery. And when they wash the floors in your room, my wife slipped and sprained her ankle and had to go to the hospital. They were very help full and a big shout out to the beach bar tender great guy carlos. Our butler in privlage Thomas was amazing booking everything we needed and also helping us with perscription from the drug store.

Overall great stay , don’t ignore negatives
Overall a lovely stay at the ocean blue Positives - lovely modern rooms with air con tv Great selection of food Staff are nice Resort is spotless Everything you need on site Great vibes all round Great activity staff around the pool with cool activities like the foam pool party Negatives - -No where near enough umbrellas round the pool or on the beach to accommodate the size of the hotel , people reserve sunbeds with random objects even though there’s signs saying it’s not allowed . I asked a member of staff they told me “no more umbrellas” -Some staff can be rude and standoffish - unless your “privileged” good luck getting in the restaurants especially the steak house , the separate restaurants are no better than the buffet food and sometimes it’s just the same food as what’s being served in the restaurants. - no kettle in the room -On the first night the reception said we can get room service as we arrived late it took 4 hours to come and was woken at 4am with a knock on the door it was a soggy beef burger It may look like negatives outweigh the positives however we had a great stay and personally I can overlook these as not a major issue, but when paying nearly £1,500 for a holiday you want to at least get a sun bed with shade around the pool or on the beach

Amazing Resort !!
I absolutely loved my stay at the ocean blue & sand resort in Punta Cana. My husband and I stayed in the privilege honeymoon suite and it was top tier. Our butler Thomas Newton was absolutely incredible with every accommodation we needed. He went above and beyond to make our stay so special. I would 10/10 recommend staying at this resort!!!

Amazing
Very happy with Thomas our butler. He made the experience of the Island refreshing. He stayed in communication with us throughout the trip, providing us with information of the resort and helped plan a romantic night for me and my lady. Absolutely amazing. Most definitely worth a second trip to the same hotel. Best service ever.

Bad experience
I do not recommend this resort. The service is very poor, with only a few staff members who stand out positively. I took the time to take a photo of them, so they are not included in my criticism of the hotel: Edelina Paradis from the Kids Club, Joneiry Mercedes at the pool bar, Keidy Trinidad, the waiter, Juan Solivey from the beach bar, and the entire entertainment team. I also want to mention the only friendly and helpful waitress from the lobby, who was attentive to my group, but unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of her. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was inattentive and unhelpful. They often responded rudely when we tried to order drinks or ask questions. The drink quality was disappointing; even the beer seemed watered down as if it had been diluted to make it last longer. The wine tasted like vinegar and was very bland. This feedback comes from nearly 40 individuals who were celebrating a birthday. Additionally, a friend’s couple checked into a dirty room with hairs on the bathroom floor and shower. They complained to room service but received no assistance. The restaurants had irregular hours, opening one day and closing the next. Although they encouraged customers to make reservations on their website, the slots were often fully booked when we tried to reserve. The line for making reservations was so long that many people grew tired of waiting and left without securing a spot. Only one person managed the reservations, which added to my list of disappointing experiences. Just thinking about it frustrates me. This resort needs to improve its quality. However, it might be the place for you if you enjoy bad service, watered-down drinks, and dirty bathrooms.
