  Relaxing getaway!

  Oualie Beach is minutes from the airport and the beach is just outside your door. Onsite restaurant and bar have great atmosphere and friendly service! Great history on the island and several activities to fill the days.

  A charming little piece of paradise 🥰

  Location is all important to my friend and I especially on a beach holiday, a view is great but to be actually on the beach is the best!! At Oualie Beach Resort your cottage is on the beach!! From the cottage you have some grass, gardens, plants & trees then the sand and then the sea!! And what a beach!! It was barely the start of the season when we visited so the resort was pretty quiet which also made the beach very quiet - in a good way! The sea was gentle and simply lapping rhythmically on the soft sandy beach (no rock shoes required!) just a short walk along the beach is the restaurant/bar, we ate here a few times and the food was excellent - tasty, generous portions and some pretty decent wines on the list! Previous reviews have stated the rooms need updating, maybe it could do with a bit of work but I personally like the charm of the place. Our room was always well serviced, it was a decent size with plenty of storage, the air-con was excellent and a small fridge. The reception team were excellent, super efficient even getting us a kettle in our room. Communications with reception (mostly Stacey) were spot on, she helped with the transfer from the airport and even pre-bought some supplies for us, bottled water, apples, Fireball (he he he!! A holiday tradition!) - the supermarket is about a 10 min drive away and we arrived late afternoon and simply wanted to settle in and enjoy the first sunset! Every one we encountered associated with this resort was really lovely and helpful, a real credit to the resort. The wild life here is great, monkeys larked around the trees and hammocks, donkeys, there were dragon flies, fire flies, even spotted a turtle pop its head out of the water! Cows appeared after dark and one morning one of the cats decided to move in with us - well, it was raining outside 🤣 We both loved our time at Oualie Beach Resort and I am sure it won't be the last time visiting this lovely piece of paradise! Thank you all at Oualie Beach Resort for a delightful stay!

  Perfect Beach cottage

  We loved our stay at Oualie! We were in Nevis for our honeymoon over a decade ago and said one day we would be back to do the Nevis to St. Kitts cross-channel swim. We finally made it! We were upstairs in one of the end units and we could not have been happier. We hope to be back again and stay in the same part of the resort! Oualie resort is very well maintained the the rooms are very clean! I understand some folks may find parts of it dated, but we really enjoyed the cottage feel. We appreciated, the feet clean "buckets" at the bottom of the stairs to help keep our room clean, and enjoyed watching the monkey make their way across the property in the late evenings from the comfort of our lanai chairs. We had several meals on property and everything was very fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to the large amount of folks who were also in town for the same race. For folks not familiar with the area I would say the restaurant is on island-time, but we didn't mind and found ourselves relaxing for the first time in a long time. Thank you to Oualie and your lovely staff for an amazing trip - we can't wait to come back!

  Quiet Simple Comfort on Nevis

  The resort is excellent. Very quiet with a great beach. Rooms are nicely furnished. Very well laid out and exceptionally clean. We loved the towel basket decorations on the bed and the fresh flowers in the room. The food at the restaurant was delicious and well priced. We did need to go off property for any meals. We felt very welcome.The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. We are definitely returning.

  A Tranquil Caribbean Escape

  I recently spent a rejuvenating 7-day yoga and wellbeing retreat at this stunning Caribbean resort, and it exceeded all expectations. Setting & Arrival The resort comprises approximately 36 charming buildings, thoughtfully scattered across the grounds with direct views of the breath-taking water. Arriving by water taxi, I was delighted to find the hotel immediately accessible - no lengthy transfers, just a seamless transition into paradise. Accommodation My room was a serene haven, featuring a grand four-poster bed, a comfortable lounge area, a fridge, a coffee machine, and ample space to unwind. Each morning, drawing back the curtains revealed an awe-inspiring view, with the soft sands mere moments away. The traditional Caribbean architecture throughout the resort added an authentic and beautiful touch to the experience. Dining & Facilities The on-site restaurant offered a varied menu, catering to various tastes with delicious options. The team members I encountered were consistently friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall sense of welcome and relaxation. Two nights a week there is entertainment/music in the restaurant, which was great fun. Overall Experience The tranquil and peaceful setting of the resort provided the perfect backdrop for a week of wellness and reflection. The combination of stunning natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service created an unforgettable experience. I have returned home with cherished memories that will last a lifetime and a deep sense of gratitude for the time spent in this Caribbean haven.
