    I enjoyed it

    I was a bit skeptical when my husband booked there based on certain reviews, but I really enjoyed my time there. As soon as I opened the door I could smell that it was just cleaned (which I loved). So the place is very clean, the AC worked well. My son could watch the tv. I would say that a little renovation would go a long way. The location and space is great. Update the decor and this place would be even more of a gem. Please update the decor. There is a beachy and rustic feel. Just a little modernization would take it up another notch. Some linen + sheer curtains perhaps lol. ❤️

    Great introduction to Nevis.

    This was a great experience. Staff was incredible and the resort was lovely. Its the off season so probably quieter, but that suited us. I can understand why people keep coming back.

    A great reset!

    We had never been to Nevis, although we had visited St. Kitts as part of a cruise. My husband and I didn't know what to expect as we had won this trip as part of a charity auction. Well having come back after a week and feeling the most relaxed we have been in quite a while, I would say the trip and island did its job. Nevis is known as the sleepier part of the island compared to St. Kitts, and it was. However, it's what we needed. The water was a beautiful turquoise and warm, warm breezes all day, our meals were delightful and also full of surprises, and the people were friendly and always gave you a smile. Our cabbie, Ozzie Tyson, was also a delight and full of information about the island from his many years and generations of living there. Grateful to have discovered something new and coming home refreshed.

    Exploring paradise, rinse and repeat...

    I've made 3 visits to the Oualie Beach Resort over the past 2 years associated with Yoga and SCUBA retreats through Amanda Parr. Your location, comfortably rustic island vibe and excellent staff make for a wonderful set of experiences. My first two visits were solo but in April my son joined me for a visit to Nevis. He was as throughly captivated as I have been. Preserve your amazing vibe. You are a jewel among the islands. Even Smokey the House Cat rememberd me from a prior visit.

    How our day trip to Nevis turned into a weekend stay at Oualie Beach Resort.

    My wife and I have always traveled to St. Kitts, but we never really ventured over to explore Nevis. This year, we finally decided to change that—and let me tell you… it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we boarded the BluWave Water Taxi, we knew we were in good hands. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and full of great suggestions. They recommended we stop by Oualie Beach Resort for lunch, and of course we did. While we were looking through the menu, a beautiful lady walked by with a smile so bright that my wife asked her if she ate a light bulb 💡 for breakfast! 😂 That moment sparked a conversation, and in that one conversation, everything changed. We chatted for a bit, and just like that we knew exactly what to order, booked a taxi for an island tour, decided to stay for the weekend, booked a sunset cruise, and learned so much about Nevis and its amazingly friendly people. We shared plenty of laughs, but best of all—we created lasting memories. This beautiful, polite, humble, funny, and extremely helpful agent and true ambassador of lovely Nevis is SHANNY. From the staff, to the food, the location, the room, the atmosphere, and of course the breathtaking sunsets—everything about Oualie Beach Resort was amazing. We had an unforgettable time, and we’ll definitely be back next year. I don’t think I can say it as good as Shanny… but one thing I know for sure: NEVIS NICE!! 🇰🇳✨
