    GREAT!

    We had a wonderful time. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. MJ was our host - she is so nice and did a great job keeping our room clean. The sunsets from our balcony we fabulous. We highly recommend staying here!

    Always great service.

    May is fantastic! We look forward to our Kaanapali stay 1 to 2 times per year. We have been to the hotel probably 10 times or more. We feel like friends now!

    Not a 4.5 Hotel

    I was expecting that this Outrigger property to be as good as the one in Kona or Waikiki. I stayed in a wing that was recently remodeled and paid extra for the partial view. The lobby was older with sort of friendly staff. The building we stayed in had no elevator so when we left we girls had to carry our luggage from the 3rd floor down the stairs. The building is still old, despite any “renovation” they basically painted the walls, and changed the carpet, nothing else. Our room was very small with no real storage for us to unpack while we were there. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The shower was small even for someone that is 5’1 and 138 pounds. It was so cramped in there. The little bit of closet space we had was full of dust! When I went to use the iron big chucks of a black residue were coming out of it!!! Just like the whole building they painted, changed the carpet, and threw in some art and a fancy headboard and called it remodeled. There was paint splatters everywhere. The toilet, the edges of the sliding door (which was hard to close) and around the floors. The pool was also small like everything else. This hotel is not a 4 or 4.5 star I would give it a 3 or 3.5. I was so let down and not happy that I paid for a 4.5 experience and barely got a 3.5. The only thing about this place is that is close to Whalers Village and the beach.

    Our second visit from the UK, we will be back!!

    Great vibe at this hotel. It has a laid back atmosphere, all the staff give a welcome ‘Aloha’. Whether that’s the grounds staff or the housekeeping, everyone is great. This is a lovely place to chill and relax whether on the beach or relaxing on a lounger in the lovely gardens, which we did most days! It’s only a short walk from the Whalers village so convenient for shops particularly the ‘ABC Store’ plus plenty of places to eat. The sunsets are beautiful as is the beach. I can’t fault this hotel at all, they bend over backwards to welcome you.

    Great hotel, with delicious breakfast, clean rooms and and attentive staff! Highly recommend and definitely plan on coming back here!
